We've won our last 11 straight against Penrith, this weekend should see us make it 12. UP against Sika Manu for the first time as well. He has done well for the rebuilding Panthers.
Good thing that unlike some other professional sporting Leagues the NRL deals with facts, not perception. If they did, there wouldn't be a Melbourne team.
go back and re-read through the posts.
A few post put up at some grounds that there already in existence is proof of an investment by...
The NRL hasn't ripped any player away from any club. It's just the nature of professional sport.
Fact - all clubs will let go players, all clubs will lose players they don't want to lose and and all clubs will sign players.
It's not like there is some draft that forces clubs to lose their...
That because the video referees aren't making decisions anymore.
They are only looking to confirm or overrule the original decision. One must ask why the review system in cricket takes so long now though.
incorrect, Melbourne have had seasons in recent history where they have made a profit.
Only a person who is truly ignorant about Western Australian Rugby League would say antyhing remotely similar to this.
I live in Sydney and even when i go out of my way to see evidence of AFL's...
It's been made public, his alcoholic and gambling issues with his disagreements with teammates during the off-season breached the code of conduct at the club.
The Bulldogs looked better last week in their smashing win over the Wests Tigers, i think it was their biggest win against WT ever...
and the fact that if you aren't tackling like that in Rugby League, you are tackling wrong and leave yourself open to potentially a high number of injuries.
Abbott has been talking about it for years. Brookie will definitely get more upgrades with an Abbott government, what's going on in Western Australia and the AFL won't have anything to do with it.
Just how much of a upgrade it will get it yet to be determined.
There are obviously enough Rugby League fans in Perth to support a team, if the Perth based NRL team is smart though it will develop Rugby League across the state and give themselves more area to develop new talent. Which is something the West Coast Pirates and the WARL have longer talked about...
Should be 0 matches, today we found it was 0 matches. Freak accidents like that happen in high intensity physical sports.
In my opinion, a penalty was not even warranted. The video refs had an off night. With that and the Cronk no try.
After today's events:
From a Rugby League perspective, it's a feeling of relief that the news of this investigation will include the interviewing of 31 current players and 10 former players. By no means does an interview with ASADA mean a certain person is guilty of anything. The other news is...
Well as we seen after today's event, no NRL club is under investigation for systematic doping other then what we already know.
That's your opinion. Not fact and it's something I don't find whenever I'm in NSW, QLD, ACT or NT.
As far as TGG goes, any fan or Rugby League know that what slogan...
They have been a little dissapointing but it's give us something to grow from. It's start and more importantly it's a start without a local team.
I would suggest more there are more league fans in North WA than south but also most that are there could be stuck in habit of watching it on Foxtel.
You can find TGG fans around the world, you should find no shortage of fans in shire if indeed you do live there.
You can also find them in work, the pub, or at social gatherings, at the games, sports bars, on the street, government, public servants, junior footy etc etc too many to list.
Where in all of this:
1) replies to the comments I've made OR
2) is on topic
???
Ohhh, here we go I found it
No body in this thread has accused anybody of targeting Cronulla. That's our opinion o what the average Rugby League fan thinks based off a radio station call-in show that screens calls.
Can't see it happening with or without the Sharks existence
So you are still new to the area. welcome.
Obviously, you don't recognise a little bit of cheek when you see it?
1) Sydney is not a state. So any comparison of a city with a state would be a flawed comparison.
2) if we are...
Can't seeing it happening.
That may be your opinion. However I have worked/lived in the area. It's 50/50 Sharks/Dragons.
Wouldn't dream of it.
Well there is your problem. You are taking a view off of the typical NRL fan of a Radio call in show. Here is a hint, the typical NRL fans don't...
It sounded weird a few years ago when we found out about it. But it's a non-story really.
I doubt the A-League would put in a Cronulla team into the competition (that's already NSW heavy) just because the Sharks fold, if they fold.
While the market is something the NRL wouldn't want to...
