No doubt this is a disappointing result for Murph & the team BUT
let's look at this week as the perfect chance to test our depth.
We have more than covered the loss of Westy over the last few weeks to the extent where many pundits are wondering where he'll fit back in!
This week gives us a...
I'd really like to see the Club take this one to the tribunal.
The clash happened right in front of us and we were surprised to see Ellis actually end up hurt & then even more surprised to see Murphy get reported! The head high contact was purely accidental & the bump within the rules of the...
Choo Choo!!
Great post Chattanooga, brilliantly crafted.
I hope your edict is prophetic in that Sunday's loss will become the neccessary steel for the players to step up to victory over The Hawks.
Last Sunday evening will seem a long, long time ago if we can get over the line on Saturday...
Bateman, in my opinion, is the most dangerous of the Hawks mids (not including Hodge). He is so quick & delivers brilliantly inside 50.
If we can negate his influence on Saturday it will go a long way to winning.
Boydy could be the man to follow him about. Mitchell doesn't hurt teams by foot as...
What a great yarn!
More than anything Murh draws on life experiences that we can all relate to.
His first pair of 'unusual' boots was my first bike. It was a shocker but I daren't show my parents the disappointment I felt when they presented it to me and it really did make 'blending in' a...
Very interesting. Check out id30931.
Brad Wira - he & Tim Callan could be brothers! They are quite similar in look & build and play a similar brand of footy (from what I recall of Wira). Gutsy, in and under, average footskills but good solid contributors.
Griffen is going along very nicely.
He has started copping a heavy tag each week which shows just what high regard the opposistion coaches have for him. Once he learns to cope with that and builds his motor up (he's spending less than 75% TOG) he will be away.
It could be later this year, but...
Worry not PM, there are quite a few Doggy supporters here in Launceston. We'll make sure we are there loud & proud on the day!
The last time the Dogs played at Aurora Stadium was in 2005 when they easily defeated St. Kilda in an NAB Cup game. Before that was 2003 versus the Saints on a very wet...
Couldn't agree more TCD.
Not only is Rocket solely focussed on coaching the team and preparing for upcoming matches but I think your post also alludes to the important role James Fantasia is playing behind the scenes.
We are all delighted with the efforts of Adelaide recruits Ben Hudson & Scotty...
Don't forget that even in the middle of last year's rot we managed a great draw against the Saints who were playing their best footy of the year at that time. Skipper had a very good game that night taking a towering mark to goal late and put us in front.
If he has a solid game for Williamstown...
Agreed Peter Dean was a very reliable defender - a player of his ilk would suit our back line now - but what sort of coaching record has he established in the lower grades?
