You don't think coming last in 2020 was disappointing ?
I reckon only 2023 was acceptable, the others have been very poor and last year was a shocker
I think there is a lot of hope that Murray Davis is the person the club needs.
By bringing some intelligent football decisions to the club.
It sounds like the game plan has changed, with the recruitment of players, everyone is hoping we see smarter selections.
Lets hope it all comes together...
Delist Nank, Taylor and Bond next year?
What planet are you on ?
We have a dozen players we would delist before one of those guys goes.
Nankervis is close to best 22
I still hold out some hope for Pedlar.
Not sure if he will ever get the tank to be a full time mid but has some traits that our midfield could use with his burst out of stoppages.
Hopefully he can get a clear run at it this year and avoid another season plagued by injuries
It's a nice surprise for me by ANB's running ability, he doesn't look like he covers the ground that fast in matches
He sounds like a big upgrade on Murphy already
Or you could look at it this way
Is there evidence as to whether a country is more successful if the government is made up by people who are elected ?
I think if you are closely associated with a group, people like the democratic way of things being run and footy clubs are no different.
Nicks appears to be too adamant that his football philosophies are the right way to go about winning football finals.
There's no changing that direction and unfortunately, I don't think it is the right direction he is heading.
No amount of help will change that
If a new coach struggles to set the right direction and doesn't understand the resources that they need to implement a competitive and competent game plan that the players can play, the club has selected the wrong coach.
And if a coach needs more than 5 years to get there, he isn't the right...
Seeing Todd Marshall is contracted to Power until 2029 makes Fog's contract a bargain.
That contract for Marshall will be an albatross around their neck for years
And I just cant seeing him improving his game in the future
Isn't Langford a replica of Curtin ?
That's why I would go with the other options available.
I like the idea of having a balanced midfield with different types of players going through there
And would prefer Smith over Draper because he has better disposal and IQ
Probably my favourite player.
Maybe we had to match another clubs offer already and the reason he got 6 years.
Looking forward to an even better year 2025
The CEO's number 1 role at a football club is to implement a successful football dept.
That should be his #1 KPI
I think Silvers has failed miserably in this area
If the CEO doesn't understand the business he is running and the people he needs to have a successful business, he has no place being the CEO of that organisation.
This business is not some huge conglomerate, it's a football club
