It’s not always about the fitness. Plenty of players that are built like Tarzan and play like Jane, get a crack at AFL and drop back to lower levels. They get exposed at local football even more.
I stand corrected and yes I was referring to then. They may not make it to their Centenary, everything is a lot harder now. Unless they can get some of those Dandenong Thunder Sponsors for 2025.
Attended the last night of training for 2024 at EB yesterday. The wind was a nice reminder of how cold it can be in Winter. Things of note for Cliff, Robbie Ward is back at EB as Senior Assitant Coach. Robbie and Kyle played together over the years. 60 in attendance plus the U17's/U19's. I...
I heard tonight that Nunawadding has folded and they have joined with Forest Hill. No name change it remains as Forest Hill. I was also informed Norwood promised the Nunawadding players Senior paid games. That’s going to be interesting if that’s true.
Saw that I was saying it was mentioned on their Social Media. Also, Spiteri is back after a year off, unsure if his brother will join him both are still on the Rams list.
That was on the Face Ache page a while back. It's good to see them back, I did notice a few players at training I did not recognize so there could be a few more signings.

Being a President of a club is a thankless task, as is being on the board. Good people who know what they are doing are few and far between. A lot of clubs suceed and fail based on who’s running the club. I’ve witnessed this a few times and it’s the never ending circle of love for many clubs.
The word is two div 4 teams are basically insolvent. Whether they fold this year or next year depends on whether they can field teams with players that play for nothing. Div 4 in 2025 could possibly be only 6 teams.
^^The points need to be lowered, but it's getting the balance right. You can give lower clubs more points but they still need the dollars to pay players. The salary cap is a token means to appease some. You can get around the cap with ease.
I think that was a bit overblown. He bet on his team at the time (Collingwood) to win in multi's and it was under $50 bet. He did have himself kicking a goal though. He copped 22 weeks with 12 suspended. This is all through a code that promotes gambling. Go Figure.
