Yeah I don't expect him to come in and be plonked straight into the guts and be that guy to win clearance after clearance. Smith's 1-wood is his outside running. He is a grinder who runs all day long (obviously crazy fit with zero fat on him). He should be a handy cog in the rotation for us.

I think you have misinterpreted what Art said. Training won't be the issue with Smith. He is a very hard trainer.

I agree. As fast as he is he doesn't seem like a "grab it and move forward fast" kinda guy. Some players just take ground.... Wojo wasn't a great player... But he went forward and went forward fast, it was a natural instinct for him and some others (not sure if Mullin is wired that way)...
