Good call champ, local clubs get nothing when their players sign with VFL clubs, so why should they pay to get them back. Local clubs work damn hard to raise funds to operate, why should we have to feather the nests of VFL clubs.

I don't believe Reservoir Lakeside were ever connected to Fawkner Park, footy fumbler. Reservoir made their debut in the DVFL in 1931. 1948 was their final season and they transferred to the Metropolitan league in 1949. They were invited back to the DVFL in 1951 but declined, the committee split...

Maybe they can go back to Crispe Park and merge with Reservoir. That's where their origins started.
