Preview 2024 Goodbye (To 2025) New; Preseason Discussion

Yep, probably for one, maybe two games. Always starts the season well. Then, as you say, he can not stop himself from playing "not to lose". Year after year, and the same coach underlings will continue to do their thing, protecting their jobs! It's a harder program this year though, and very...

Get Cornes out of the forward line. Has there been any talk of the lines getting changed?

Player Watch Welcome to Port Adelaide Pick #15 (2024) - Joe Berry

Fritsch is a good comparison, though Joe might range further. I'm looking forward to watching this collection of small forwards.

Player Watch Welcome to Port Adelaide Pick #38 (2024) - Christian Moraes

Panicky. Goal kicking seems good but not field kicking. Handballs an issue. Seems to be another forward, who gets up the ground?

    List Mgmt. 2024 AFL Draft

We have tall forwards. Greatest need is for a top forward or mid-forward. Will probably get a mid-sized HB.

Thank you for coming onto our board and not gloating. Yes, it is an awful commercial deal. And our pathetic don't-aspire-to-greatness admin will just roll over and take it. Soft as!

    List Mgmt. 2024 AFL Draft

I haven't read this thread, mainly since I would have no idea what I am reading, so nothing to offer. But, it would be most surprising if our first pick didn't go on a half-back flanker.

    Rumour Assistant Coach Gossip

They prefer to appoint from within, so I'm guessing Hartlett will take Kelly's position - not that he was ever able to play as a mid. Getting some in from outside is needed for a fresh look at our systems, particularly the forwards. Replacing Chad Cornes is a necessity IMHO.

Player Watch Welcome to Port Adelaide Rory Atkins

The club must be totally out of sync with the paying customers. To collect a player who is possibly the most hated AFL in the comp, by us, is just mind-numbingly right out there. I'm so antagonised by this decision. A sneaky trick to stop the white noise from thinking too deeply about the...

Player Watch Welcome to Port Adelaide Jack Lukosius

We should sack our forwards coach irregardless. I don't think Chad has much idea of forwards' movement and structure. Will they move the line coaches around?

Opinion Forward Line Coach - Get One!

Absolutely on board with this. I understand that Hinkley would be making the overall plan to bomb it in, and Cornes was able to develop a good system at times, but I've had enough of him. The two I really want out are Hinkley and Cornes since I don't believe either is capable of change.

Autopsy Swans end our 2024 season

Quintessential Hinkleyball. You cannot blame the players when they have been told to play that way. I cannot believe the coaches reverted to bomb it in when it has always failed.

Certified Legendary Thread Sack Hinkley 12 - Finals Are Scary

Pathetic Hinkley. Nothing like last week's game intensity or plan that kept Hinkley in his job. Back to pure Hinkleyball.
