I'd say a couple of reasons.
1. Less wear and tear on the body
2. They likely carry less mass
3. They are unaware of the impact of the length of the season and hit pre-season trying desperately to impress.
I suspect if they hung out together it would be bad for both.
They need to spend the next 6 months with Noffie or Randall. Like all day everyday. They could be the two best players in the competition if they reached their peaks.
The last few games she played for Port it was clear she was unfit. I was worried how that might have ended up, but in the picture we posted she looks good.
Let's hope she is ready to get really fit and in the right headspace.
I got tickets to this game this morning.
It said 'General Admission allocation exhausted', but when I clicked through the tickets were there and I nabbed 2.
Also got tickets to Coll V Syd on the Friday night.
So I will be going Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Sounds like a...
I'm guessing we will take McKee then? A small with good goal sense sounds useful for us.
Shame that Rasheed will be gone before our pick. Would love her to slide through though. Can't see us going for Scholz.
I hope Chelsea is at her house right now setting up her fitness program.
Get her fit and it could be the difference between an extra premiership and fading away into a rebuild.
Am I right that you can only buy tickets for the games that you have a club membership for?
So a Hawks member can only buy for the Hawks game until tomorrow?
That's a big IF.
But if it is for the picks suggested, then it is a no brainer.there must be some significant issues for Port top even consider it though.
Even though it's a National draft, I'm hoping most clubs still stick by their state boundaries.
Besides, I hear she is very much a homebody and is scared of leaving the house most days. Good source. Feel free to share it around :)
More than anything we need some additional talent coming in. We've been relying heavily on too few for a while now (unsurprisingly given the local drafts and restrictions we have had).
If they have some speed as well, that would be great.
If we can stay ahead of Port in the draft, then we...
100%. Our ruck stocks are laughably thin.
ROB - Bog average
Thilthorpe - suspect knees - should not be used in the ruck at all
Strachan - injured and incapable
T Murray - a LONG way from being AFL ready. Very raw still.
Burgess - utterly hopeless in the ruck. Might as well ruck Murphy if...
He should have gone to College, enjoyed the experience and then he would have been Cat B eligible and could pick his club.
Stupid decision in my book.
I wonder if his previous knee injury scared him a bit?
