Ha! Spot On.
My bugbear is how, after a fair margin opens up between the teams, almost always the special comments guy decides the losing team must "lift their workrate" and especially "take the game on"
such a lazy, generic assessment
The big Q Stick, with all his Q-stickiness, is actually a bit of a body blow for WCE i think, so my vote is with Geelong. Hopefully Varcoe can find some form, too
Born in 1990, i never saw him play, but i remember Sheedy saying once he thought Neale Daniher was the most talented of all the brothers, and that Neale could have been one of the greatest ever if the stars had aligned for him
we did seem visibly slow out there tonight. welsh, hille and pears especially.
as for Ryder, he's a pretty laid back bloke at the best of times, but when he is so out of form and confidence, he comes across as a lazy footballer and completely undeserving of a spot in the team...
Re: Rd 13 Trades
Actually, you're right sorry it's not confirmed. injuryupdate.com/au has him "in doubt", i would be suprised if he played though - 6 day break, perth, he's 78 years old..
Re: Round 12 - Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion
biggie by name only, ey?
there should be a fair range of scores this week, i got 2281 which should keep me around 500...
so...yers trading selwood?
for mine, it is just the kind of game that will get Pavlova back into top nick...very ominous.
Hopefully Paddy and Lil Leroy enjoy themselves back on home soil
Re: Round 9 Trades
Noooooo, not heppell!
His scoring this year is easily enough to be a D7 for the year, surely your team has bigger holes to fill?!
Heppell is the kinda cash cow who keeps on giving you the milk, milk which is worth more than the meat you sell him for
Re: Dyson Heppell
Incidentally, has now outscored Goddard in Supercoach this year. Incredible Stuff. I agree with the comment regarding Fletch and Heppell, the two combine so well back there. An absolutely invaluable apprenticeship, let's hope Fletch has a year or two left in him to keep...
Spot on, all depends on Pears. The reason there is so much confusion is that he has played both positions and shown potential...for what its worth, i think his future is CHF, but gee i hope he gets 20 straight games there to settle and prove himself
Re: West Coast Eagles vs Essenscum
LeCras should be easily accounted for, will take a few weeks to get match fitness back. Riemers on the other hand... Dons to win by 5 goals, they sound really serious about this one
Re: Round 7 Trades
Libba -> Iles and
Tappy -> Chappy
Mainly just because the trade rhymed. And Chapman is a machine.
I'll have Duigan on the bench this week, who knows, another couple of weeks and he might start mooing again? At worst, he will drop 15,000...and thats cool Doogs. That's cool.
