Fremantle V Essendon - One of the most important games of the season so far

Better example than a NAB cup game and a Gold Coast game maybe?

I like Jetta - but he's no Rioli :)

Yeah probably grasping at straws a little there. Jetta is good but not in the goal kicking class of Rioli. And Monfries seems to have lost it as well.

tipping a 5 goal plus win to Freo.

Freo by about 25 unless something goes wrong but they should have it in the bag.

When was the last time Essendon won here? The 03 Elimination final?

Very few are as good as Rioli. Jetta has had 2 or 3 absolutely superb games this year. Should've kicked 3 on Anzac day and clearly our best against the Tigs. Generally stretches his legs out @ the MCG, hopefully that can translate across to Subi as well.

I can only post the most recent videos (or any) that are readily available. Unfortunately, unlike Freo supporters, we aren't graced with Bomber supporters creating highlight videos of every Essendon moment.

With that said, they are no flukes, no matter the game. The kid can play and many have paid attention to his tremendous improvement from 2009 to now. You'd be a fool to not pay some respect to his ability in the midfield and forward line.

Even if my post was in a light hearted manner - Jetta has all the capabilities of "bailing us out" of a sticky situation.

Nevertheless the main barometers will be the inclusion of Watson and Hurley.

Freo by 5 goals, Pav to find his goal kicking boots again and my son to have a big smile on his face, Go Dockers!!!

Freemantle to win and win well. Both sides are terribly out of form but the class gap between the two playing groups is pretty massive. Freemantle gave it away versus Hawthorn last week a (a quality side who many have as a genuine GF chance) whereas Essendon were made to look poor v. an ordinary Melbourne team. Additionally Eseendon are about the worst travelling side in the AFL.

As usual Essendon charge out of the blocks at the start of the season, get massively overhyped and then start to crumble as it gets to mid season. They will not make the 8, and probably won't for the next few seasons until they manage to clear out a playing group that is good enough beat crap teams, but never good enough to compete with top 8 sides at the bussiness end of the year.

I reckon the Bomber's will get the Dockers here. Bombers have some big ins and remember Freo's record without Sandilands? I just think Essendon have been playing so well throughout the first half of the season that a drastic form slump would be diabolical from their point of view.

Fremantle are this weeks specials and i will be loading up at the $1.77 value at Sportsbet.

We struggle badly interstate usually but Subi is a horror ground for us and with a non existent forward line of late it will be an uphill battle.

We will most likely drop a ruckman this week which will help but not enough and Freo will be too slick for us and have a really important win.

You are right it is one of the most important games of the season, especially for both clubs, but i can't see us winning this one.

Ended up backing Freo at the -7.5 points line @$2.10.

At least when backing against your own team, if you lose the game you can console yourself with the cash to some extent.

St Kilda vs Dogs is another game this round that is make or break for both clubs

I will be tipping the Saints and Freo

Good tip!!!! I hope you put some money on it when you had the chance.
