Doesn't matter where it is expected to push out too. You are getting the 12th best available player in the draft. Ignore all FS and NGA they are not real players available.
Laird is not playing sanfl. He won't be in our midfield but will go back to hbf. He could very well do what zorko did this year.
Can win his own ball down there. Is tough. Was AA HBF before. He's not the most penetrative kick but we need some toughness back there.
How can we offer him mid time
Crouch (who was great when came back)
Dawson (legit A+)
Rankine (has sky high potential)
Soligio (looking great)
Berry (don't rate but coach love him)
Laird had to be even moved out to hbf
Reminds me very much of Tom McDonald year as a fwd... then ended up back to def as couldn't cut it. If we got Luko very much would have wanted him on the wing or the HBF
Everyone knows he's on big money... he's not gonna leave 2x1m per year at GC for peanuts. Could have just stayed there collected 2m then move back in 2 years.
Would you be happy if they upped the offer to get him? Port had 0 fwd structure on Friday night. A key forward is a must for them.
I would think port upped the offer after their fwd line display this finals / the concussion for marshall.
They need him much more than us with TT and fog
Well not really. Macrae / Daniel are starters in most sides and have been pushed out of the side and made sub every game... so makes sense to ask for a trade... Smith was always wanting out
Mckay 2+ 1.75 and up
Last time he played without curnow was his Coleman year... they will target him non stop
Kennedy ATG 1.90 and up
Playing as a pure fwd nowadays
I cant see any side paying a first for Luko with his 1m per year salary for the next 2.... thats way over for a player of his calibre atm. Doesnt seem like will be a powerhouse forward... needs to be a high HFF or on the wing with his elite kick.
Thing I never understood about him hes an elite...
