A few injuries down and Carlton could find themselves really missing Kennedy. Just like the Dees would have loved Harmes back in after losing Petracca and (effectively) Oliver.

Opinion Update: who will be the next captain - Liam Jones, Aaron Naughton or Ryley Sanders?

His direct family are the opposite. Prepared to sacrifice anything for his footy.

To be fair winning just one more game would have has us top 4 this year

Opinion Update: who will be the next captain - Liam Jones, Aaron Naughton or Ryley Sanders?

Whaaa? He's from Northern Tas not Hobart (Melb-Hbt flight is quicker than the drive). And he was already living in Melb for footy the year prior his draft. Tassie may well come for him, but him and his family have clearly prioritised his footy over location.

Oh it would be salty joyousness if Smith went at 49% disposal efficiency or less when we play. Then we can claim in our salty glory that he's still kicking it to us more 😆

If they took the emotion out of football there would be no football. It's literally the only reason there are supporters.

    So Kennedy is like Kennedy...

Definitely could. I'm surprised we haven't tried it (other than wing) considering his traits. He racked up some record there when he was about 16 - think it was 60-something disposals. Edit - it was 56 disposals for Glenelg U18s, which is apparently a league record.

Except I don't think Freijah needs to worry about his tank. Just won the 2km time trial. I realise a game of AFL is a lot more than that, but I'm not sure I can think of anyone who is elite at the 2km with a poor tank.

Brew, Sanders, Kennedy, Libba, and Bont all regularly clock up a lot of tackles. Would be nice get that level of pressure back

I definitely do not want to trade Marra, but don't agree with the above. Elite free agents generally leave for less than trade value unless you are a shit team. It is a bit out of whack atm because they haven't adjusted their thresholds to the new salary caps. If Baz was a free agent then...

I do and think he'd go pick 1 if entered the draft (assuming the team with pick 1 needs a KPF). Tracking beautifully for a young KPF imo. If his set shots were more accurate there'd be zero question. And I think he'll correct that as he is very skilful.

True, they could mean that too. Either way I really hope he's a Bulldog for life. I didn't like his finger pointing and teammate spraying earlier in the year but hope that's just a minor blip as we all have along the way.

I'm thinking it's the increase in the asset value (on the books) because of the redevelopment.

Pick 20# Welcome to the Bulldogs Cooper Hynes

Call me petty but as long as he has a better (football) career than Baz I'll be happy.

I believe the point is that we may be more willing to entertain it if he is surplus to our needs.

An absolute tackling machine. Like rediculous level of tackles. That probably the POD

Does Freijah move to the wing this year? It was arguably his natural position. We've made comments before about playing draftees off half back to get them involved but Freijah has progressed quickly!

Bit off the radar but could be an astute pick. Was on a great trajectory before injury

A smaller Nick Riewoldt? Might play a similar role anyway. A gut running forward that run end to end repeatedly.

Can't forget we had give up a F2 in that offer too. So whilst we'd have North's F1 and our F1 we would have no other picks. No 2nd, 3rd or 4th round pick (and no Hynes).
