Player Watch #5 Jack Ross- Re-Signed until 2026

He was terrible against the lions, he was slow and and couldnt stick a tackle and has poor foot skills he is just a battler
  2. Tango67

List Mgmt. Trade & Free Agency talk Pt 6

Our issue is we lack foot skills and our fwds do not lead up to the ball carrier we still bomb the ball long and with Lynch out we have no one capable of marking it. Modern footy requires ball movement by foot via the corridor and fwds who lead up to the ball carrier ala Collingwood we have too...

Changes for next year, Round 1

Castagna needs to sort out his kicking quickly as he is now the weakest link, his speed and pressure keeps him in but for how long?

  7. Tango67

    Player Watch #37: Connor Menadue

Looked soft and timid today, nothings changed, wont make it, makes Ellis look like Ollie Wines
  8. Tango67

Prediction If Graham doesn't pull up, Who replaces him? (POLL)

Broad will play and Jack will be replaced by Ross like for like Stack is not fit forget him and Pickett is a risky choice Kmac has been tgere befire, tall, tough and runs all day which us whats needed against GWS
  9. Tango67

Game Day Richmond v Williamstown GRAND FINAL Sunday 22/9 @ Ikon Park

We dodged a bullet, we got lucky, we were the better side allday but our fwd line was a disaster, no tall fwds leading up the ground, 2 missed shots inside 50 in the last minutes saved us... Well done tigers you were the best team all year even if you played poorly last game Best were Morris...

Autopsy Roast & toast vs Adelaide and changes for the bye (or St Kilda)

can run multiple leads back and forth and create space behind him, actually that's exactly what Ellis is good as........ a DECOY
  11. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & toast vs Adelaide and changes for the bye (or St Kilda)

difference is when Dusty turns it over it's because he is trying a low bullet laser pass forward of centre that if it comes off is usually a score compared to Ellis who turns it over when he kicks backwards, sideways or handball 1 meter to a player in a poor position usually under the pump...

Autopsy Roast & toast vs Adelaide and changes for the bye (or St Kilda)

Ellis is actually a good mark and straight kick, not sure why he hasn't been used out of the goal square with Lynch up the ground until jack is back, otherwise I would be forgetting Ellis and playing kids
  13. Tango67

Can Richmond still be a contender this season?

6 ~ 8 yes but an early finals exit IMO as we cant match tall marking sides, cant match strong rucks and get smashed by good midfielders Rance covered our backline issues and a combination of injuries, game changes and a lack of speed in our fwd half has impacted our chances this year IMO
  14. Tango67

    Player Watch #7: Daniel Butler

Lambert, rioli and Higgins are the 3 small forwards add 2 talls in Lynch and Jack and a medium in caddy with baker on the bench leaves no spot for butler or costana in my opinion Naish replaces Ellis on a wing with Bolton on the other, Macintosh on the.bench as back up. Dusty, Cotch, Prestia...
  15. Tango67

    Player Watch #42: Ryan Garthwaite

cant judge him at the moment as he is FB in a Reserves side playing seniors, get the seniors back in the side then judge him
  16. Tango67

    Player Watch #7: Daniel Butler

yeah fair point, Butler has lost his role, he needs to be making tackles and applying pressure the rest is a bonus
  17. Tango67

    Player Watch #7: Daniel Butler

needs the Ellis treatment, go back to the vfl until you change your attitude, chase, tackle commitment then we will consider
  18. Tango67

Player Watch #29: Shai Bolton - Traded for picks 10,11&18

    Cerra or Brayshaw would do
  19. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & toast vs Adelaide and changes for the bye (or St Kilda)

would like to see Stack and Bolton run through the middle, we need more run and spark amazing how poorly we are in the guts when we lost Ross and Cotchin just shows what happens when you lose footy smarts in the guts and that Nank is out as well and that's 3 of our mid starters our team is...
  20. Tango67

    Player Watch #37: Connor Menadue

runner not a footballer we can do better
  21. Tango67

    Player Watch #13: Jack Higgins

needs a run in the 2s to gain confidence
  22. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & toast vs Adelaide and changes for the bye (or St Kilda)

A gallant effort by an understrenth tiger outfit but make no mistake the score flattered us we were smashed and the crows overan us with 3 injured players on the bench in the last qtr.
  23. Tango67

    Player Watch #37: Connor Menadue

    Dud delist

  26. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & Toast vs Port Adelaide, Rd 4 2019, & changes for Sydney

needs to be a forward that goes out, costana is the one manadue out if houli is back give JR another week off
  27. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & Toast vs Port Adelaide, Rd 4 2019, & changes for Sydney

great win Lynch, Grimes and Ross massive didn't miss Butlers crap so keep him out Costana does not have the skills to play AFL and should be dropped out costana in Martin as a forward only out menadue in houli
  28. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & Toast - Round 2 v Collingwood & changes for GWS Rd 3

we need pace, run and hardness, I'm all for Stack, Balta and Bolton at the expense of Weller, Ellis and Markov with Butler, Prestia and Short on notice. B. Short, Astbury, Broad H. Vlastuin, Garth, Macintosh C. Bolton, Graham, Edward's H. Lambert, Martin, Rioli F. Butler, Lynch, Balta R. Nank...
  29. Tango67

Autopsy Roast & Toast - Round 2 v Collingwood & changes for GWS Rd 3

the team that won simply ran, chased and tackled harder until the dam burst... just a lazy lack luster performance with a poorly selected team. will improve..
  30. Tango67

Player Watch #21: Noah Balta - Signed Until 2032

and Balta who has probably never rucked is not going to make any difference against Grundy and Cox.
