Do you think Dogs may have asked Coft not to nominate them yet so that interested clubs interview him and the Dogs can then get a gauge on where a bid might come from when he does finally nominate the Dogs?
If Sav was available in this years national draft and willing to go anywhere, where do you think he would be ranked?
And where do you think he would be ranked if he put $500k on his head?
Yeah, I was wanting to know this myself but didn’t know how to put the question. I would assume they would maintain their original point value. Hopefully someone can help.
Also, are there any Sam Sturt highlights floating around anywhere?
Not a hope in hell he would have been an electrician this year. He would have been picked up by another club if we didn’t pick him up. Otherwise why would we use such an early pick on him.
The last game against The Suns. Playing against witches hats and we won by over 100 point but still could not hit targets numerous times without any pressure what so ever. A very unskilled season.
Can someone give me some feedback on Constable. I see he is continuing to put up good number so I would just like to know if he is a good user of the ball. I don’t get to see any of the VFL.
Cheers
If we dish that up in two weeks time it will not end well. One of our least skillfull performances for the year I think considering we were playing a team that applied next to no pressure at all.
At least last week against Freo we were pretty clean with our ball use. That display today was...
In all fairness the doubters were given plenty of reason to doubt. But yes his last six weeks have been good and his game last night was one of his best considering the quality of ruckman he was up against.
I don’t know much about the current draft crop but I don’t want anyone who doesn’t have good skills. Turnovers in today’s game are so costly so I would rather someone who doesn’t quite get it as often but when they do they use it well.
People say that we are slow but I put it down to the fact...
Strauchnyy should be able to help you with this. He said the draft falls off a cliff after pick 20 so he should be able to accurately tell you the first 20 players selected with no problem.
Can anyone who has seen a few VFL games this year give me some feedback on how Gardner is travelling this year. Is he far away from being AFL ready? In his first year I read some positive write ups about him but have not heard much about him this year.
People are saying we hold the upper hand because he will just retire if Suns don't accept a third round pick. Wouldn't the Suns rather him retire than him go to an opposition team for a pick they probably won't use?
I don't particularly want to see Lonergan, Henderson and Taylor all playng in the backline at the same time so based on that I would be happy to see one of them played forward for an extended period of time. Of the three I would prefer it to be Taylor. Henderson being younger I can see him being...
Just curious Nakia, are you saying we would be in trouble because neither of them can play forward or because we can not afford to not have them in defence? Not questioning your opinion, just curious as to what angle you are coming from.
For me I see Murdochs main weakness being his decision making under pressure. So far in his career he has far too many turnovers from bad decisions under pressure and in today's game turnovers are costly. If he can tidy up this part of his game he can be a very good player for us because with...
I don't hate Hawthorn but they are the team I enjoy beating to most.
I dislike Freo the most mainly due to Lyon. He gets talked up by most as a great coach but the way I see it is he took over St Kilda in their prime and didn't do much better than Thomas. He didn't develop any young players and...
I'm not sure I would like to see our pick 10 on a crumbling forward. Would rather see it used on a quality KPP or quality midfielder while we have the chance. Pick 10 would seem a waste on a small forward.
So do you think we should still have Chapman, Podsiadly, Corey and Hunt still on our list? Along with Kelly, Enright, Lonergan, Makie Bartel and Stevie J? Do we just let them keep playing for as long as they want because the served the club so well? Then have about ten players retire at once.

"Murdoch could be absolutely anything". Hmmm....is it just me who sees the numerous turnovers due to poor skills and decision making when under pressure?
