Get Brew on the list ASAP! He is exactly what this semi timid list needs. He’s also a leader of men. He’s the Joel Selwood of the VFL. Even if he didn’t play too many games, he has the inner competitive spirit that premiership teams/squads need. When I see McNeill nervous as hell kicking set...

What They're Saying - The Bulldogs Media Thread - Part 4

I disagree. The true royal blue we have now is much better and traditional. We don’t clash with dark teams as much too. We got a bit darker in the 90’s but that was probably just poor replication of colours from less competent manufacturers rather than consciously.

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

Team selection. Our last game, a big final against Hawthorn and he doesn’t play Rylee West and Riley Garcia, two lads built for finals, we were embarrassed in front of the football world.

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

Too close to Bevo. Last thing Bevo or any coach needs in the coaching panel is yes men or people that were part of his squad/playing group. He needs people to challenge him and with different ideas from outside our footy club.

These guys aren’t all fails. Three of them played in a winning preliminary final for us. Schache, Martin and Hannan. Doug Hawkins, Chris Grant, Brad Joshson, Scott West etc couldn’t achieve this. Jed Adcock as a former Brisbane skipper was an invaluable leader through 2016 and played in our VFL...

It helps when their CEO (Steve Hocking) was recently the football boss of the AFL. Former president Colin Carter had been on the AFL Commission and his time on the commission gave him much intelligence on all the other clubs. And they have many voices in the media including Hutchinson who owns...

I also ran into his old man and uncles in the dunny’s at his debut game in Ballarat. They all had that look that I see, in not all, but a few tradies I work with that call cocaine ‘nose beers’. To use is just an extension of Friday night beers. I’m no supporter of using cocaine, often described...

    Geelong rorting the system

100% Cotton On were. Obviously the list manager had to approve. But why wouldn’t you wait until free agency? At least both clubs get rightfully paid and that is the fair length of time (6years) for club and player. Cotton On were paying Tom Hawkins wife, surely this is a major conflict of interest?

    Geelong rorting the system

Obviously would have been done on good faith, Cotton on even make our AFLW jumpers. But that good faith was shat on. As a talented, but extremely immature lad was manipulated. Bulldog fans hate Smith as much as any club hates to lose players, but generally appalled by Geelong and how they operate.

Toast Welcome to the club, Rory Lobb

I too was stoked for him. But it was the the outside footy world, especially the media who were down on him. All my Bulldog mates understood what he did in 2023 was good, but not everything went his way. It was the media again over emphasising one moment this year and a match committee that...

    Geelong rorting the system

It’s not about haters, sport or any competition only works within clearly defined rules, as to make that competition fair and competitive. This is such an obvious breach and probably is cheating. How much were cotton on paying Tom Hawkins wife😂? How did a major sponsor poach a star from another...

If you could get Brayden Crossley fitter he would be a great relief for Tim English. He is only about 25?? Could our fitness fella that was at the giants work with him enough to get him ready?

Not necessarily having a go at you personally, I have actually liked a lot of your posts, especially recently. I am just trying to point out hypocrisy with others who are so condemning of the GWS lads when they might support regimes that murder and rape, and excuse it because “the other side is...

We need to condemn bad behaviour sure, but comedy and acting is often important to highlight atrocious behaviour. We have someone here in BigFooty with a Palestine flag as their avatar, that went up straight after the appalling events last year. The brutal rape, torture murder on October 7 was...

One of the best posts I’ve ever read. Sounds exactly like my brother, a Hawthorn supporter, who speaks as if he is somehow a Alastair Clarkson Sam Mitchell clone. Always telling me what Footscray is doing wrong and if they only did it like Hawthorn we’d be winning flags🤪

Welcome to the Bulldogs Matthew Kennedy

The locker room stuff is more important than a lot realise in a football club. This is a major win for our club next season with Kennedy. From the outside looking in Rory Lobb, Taylor Duryea. Adam Treloar and Liam Jones all look like ripper blokes, interestingly all from other clubs. Cody...

A few years back there were a few on here were pretty harsh on Ryan Griffen. He was a jet but just a shy kid. It’s disgusting behaviour from a major sponsor of the cats, who also employs a young star from a rival club, to court and entice him to play for the cats. Draft and Develop your own.
