It will be a baptism of fire for McSweeney but I have no doubt that he has to open in the first test. He will eventually settle st 3 or 4 but for right now he is the only reasonable option. Harris, Bancroft and Renshaw will never make it as test players.

It's such a difficult one to decide which option will be correct. Two bites of the cherry in a consistent, even draft or go for the potential superstar at 3. Lalor and Draper do look impressive. Tough call to make. High risk or play it safe.

I'm in favour of taking the two picks to the draft, or depending on list space trading back to Sydney for 19 + 22. 3 picks in the top 25 would be incredible + Campo twins but it will depend if we have the list space. To be honest, the calibre of available free agents and tradeable targets this...
