I disagree, I thought Hartigan was great yesterday. Why are we so quick to move on from our older guys. Let their form play them out of the team. If the hawks are potentially playing finals next year and Hartigan is in form why is he not in the picture? He's only 30
Seeing a few suggestions Callow should be dropped. I thought his game last night was an improvement from the last, had a few more touches and got more involved. I'd give him another game at least to see if he can improve again.
Worpel seems to have found a bit of form. He's obviously not the cleanest footballer or best decision maker but his effort was uncompromised. Showing he can still be an asset. Hopefully he inflicts some punishment on the dons next week!
Scrimshaw, 18 disposals first half, 1 disposal 2nd half. I know everyone switched off but this concerns me a bit, only because I love his contribution. Hoping he was just knackered after a massive game last week.
The guy has only been back for a week and a half! He was great against Carlton, we were 6 goals down when he came on. Sure he didn't play well against the saints but he wasn't alone there. I'm willing to cut some slack to a guy that was one of our better players in the later part of last season...
I wish he'd play on. Why does he have to retire? The last 4 games have shown he's still got plenty to offer. He'd make the best sub because you wouldn't be floating a young player in between box Hill and seniors and reducing game time.
To your point the 2019 post bye wins were definitely meaningless even detrimental. I just wanted to point out if you are referring to a 5 year period 2017 tells us it's not all doom and gloom.
2017 we were an absolute basket case up to the bye and then post bye we had 6 wins and a draw from the last 10 games. Sure It was frustrating to miss finals and compromise our draft hand but the following year we finish top 4. I'd be happy if we finish top 4 next year.
Fair point. He's 2 games were probably our worst for the year against the saints and west coast. Hopefully the more in form hawks of late can allow him to showcase what he's got.
Yeah it's a bit harsh and like I said happy to be proven wrong but in the 2 games I've seen him play he seemed to be lacking something fundamental I can't quite put my finger on. But anyway, my early prediction is that he doesn't work out. Sorry if that offends a few people
Good to see the young guys getting a chance but I can't see a future for Nash or Jeka. They both seem really lost at AFL Level. I hope they prove me wrong and Connor has a bunch of clearances and Jeks hits the scoreboard.
Just watching the replay now. I'm still confused as to why he wasn't allowed that amazing mark in the 2nd quarter. It's a bit petty consideration we had such a good day but really annoys me!
Hanrahan will be fine. They're probably just looking for few more consistent performances as he's been hot and cold and senior level. I think he'll end up being really good for us.
I did a ladder predictor that has us a game clear in 8th after round 18. Just need Richmond to fall of a cliff...

Very fair call,
He's definitely not playing at his best. When we recruited him he'd just come off 26 disposals and 2 goals in a grand final. 2 years later he wins a Brownlow in a top 4 team. He definitely has enough X factor. This year though, his disposal and decision making have really let...
What are everyone's thoughts on Tom Mitchell? He's 28 in a few weeks and still potentially worth a first round pick. Currently I don't feel he adds value to the team. He wins a lot of the ball but seems to always give the hands off to another player in trouble or kick short to a 50/50. I think...
