Being a Perth lad, it's good to see us play over here, an enjoyable game. The HTB rule does my head in, Steele was tackled as he received it, htb....Reid on the other hand fended off a player, got tackled after, ball up. I'm scared that we may miss the next Gazza jnr in the draft though
But I...
Hinkley's Port are Home and Away beasts, we're not at that stage yet.
Hodge is a bell end, 5 minutes before the Higgins tackle, Wilson was dumped and got a free. Hodge sooked and said Wilson's arm motion embellished the tackle......then, aliir is tackled, does the same arm motion, but all of a...
I think he does some nice things in traffic doesn't spend it too early. I just hope he works on his acceleration and speed, but that can pretty hard after your teenage years.
Yep, the game needs the 80'/90's hunch to return, where they lean over the ball as they walk in to take their shot. Id say it would lower the distance between hand and foot, when the ball is dropped.
King should bring out tapes of that game against West Coast three years, explosive and high...
The eagles one is a huge moral hazard. They sold the farm after the 2018 flag to acquire Tim Kelly and to keep the run going.
If they get additional picks, they essentially got a no consequences free hit at keeping their premiership window open.
It's starting to click....
How good!
I wonder where we will be in the power rankings this week, still bottom 3, flopping campaigners.
Hunter Clarke should try to strengthen his neck, do some Mike Tyson neck exercises, it will help him with those whiplash type concussions.
That was good watching.
I hope we smack these twats this week, living in Perth, their fans are insufferable.
Now they want a priority pick, no, you tried to keep your premiership window open by throwing away picks....now reap what you sew....the AFL cannot give them one, it would be a moral hazard.
I dont think I've seen max king in full sprint. I'd like to see him try push on his defender and take short lead up marks, it'd be easy pickings for him.....josh Kennedy used to do it all the time, and he was never quick.
We've done well in the past couple of drafts, if we can crush this one, we have a really good young core which will limit the damage when the older ones retire....so important this draft
Didn't expect to read a comment like this. I remember playing against the Nagoya Redbacks in 2006. I was part of the Kyoto Kockatoos...still have my Guernsey. My knees used to get torn up in those gravel surfaces.
I think Steele plays his best when he's carrying some muscle in his arms and shoulders. He looks quite thin now, I wonder if that is impacting his game.
I remember Joel Selwood saying a couple of years ago that Steele had the hardest body in the AFL and was difficult to play against.
