I think you'll be surprised how much good footy Macrae's got left in him. Even in a role that didn't suit him at all he still had an impact - get him back into the engine room and he'll be a difference maker.
Hope to play you round 1 for his 250th.
Sorry for the intrusion but I will say it's not a great comparison. Harmes was brought in as a wing/half-forward which Macrae isn't great at. Harmes shouldn't have played, and I see the fact that Bevo couldn't find a way to fit a player as good as Macrae into a role other than half-forward as...
This sums up my thoughts about the high press
It's about Port but most of it applies to us as well. High press defence can work but it's harder to do on bigger grounds and when teams take it on either by running through the zone or switching it gives up too much space in the most dangerous...
Need more small forward and half-forward options. The best sides for years have been full of them, it's just the way the game is being played now. For a side that plays 3 KPFs it becomes even more important.
Weightman and West is a fine start. Jones needs to start playing more often, regardless...

After being in the queue for over an hour, being booted several times and trying 4 devices I finally got through. Shit seats, but I thought I'd miss out entirely
1. The positives from this season? What went right?
My starting team felt pretty good - Heeney was the standout, but I didn't miss many rookies and my cash gen was much better than previous years. My strategy was to start heavy in defence, quickly upgrade my midfield and look at forwards later...

Sorry guys, just trying to add some much needed melts/make a joke but it fell flat.
In all honesty Khamis has been lucky to keep his spot, I rate JOD much higher than him. I'm also a fan of what Arty brings. Happy with the team.
Way too harsh on Khamis. Yes he's been struggling but last week was his best game for a while. What sort of message does that send to the players? Plus having Arty play his first AFL game in over a year - what's the bet he plays a blinder in strange weather conditions and holds his spot to...
