Agreed, I don't have any connection to anyone inside of the club. Just an average supporter. But if theres anyone on here who is able to get to someone at the club and inform them of this then it should be done.
You can send an email to Patrice Berthold, GM of Women's Football.

Based on Ameet's email address, he email is likely to be patrice.berthold@westernbulldogs.com.au.

I'll send one as well.

He also hates the Bulldogs. Routinely doesn't have Bontempelli in his teams of the weeks or years, but has at least 2-3 Saints players each week. Used to work at the McDonalds in the same shopping center that I used to work at. Skinny as dude, with a big head. Talks harder than he looks for sure. Throw in all the above stuff. He is not a nice person.

Apparently has mental development issues or autism, but that is not 100% confirmed.

I had an austistic, socially undeveloped man who was like 30, hired at my work place, under a job agency for disabled people because they pay his wages. His mental development was way behind his age. I understood he had no social skills and wasn't able to act appropriately at times. I did my best to educate them, point out what was acceptable and what wasn't. Like trying to boss experienced people around because he was "older", talking back at those I left in charge for the night etc. But as soon as he made an inappropriate comment to an under aged female staffer, I was on the phone to his job agency the next day and had him moved on. Disability or not, protecting my workers is my number one priority.

Given Scoops inappropriate behaviour, and the clubs previous lawsuit. It would be a terrible look for the club to allow him any association.

Western Bulldogs trio Dom Carbone, Keeley Hardingham and Jaimi Tabb have been recognised in the 2024 rebel VFLW Team of the Year squad.

If selected, it would be the second consecutive year Carbone has made the final cut, and maiden inclusions for Hardingham and Tabb.

The trio were the Bulldogs’ most consistent players across the 2024 season, highlighted by their top three finish in the Club’s Best and Fairest count earlier this month.
A squad of 30 players are in contention for selection, with the final team of 21 to be named at the VFL and VFLW awards on Monday 16 September.

A captain and coach will also be announced on the night.

Players must have played a minimum of seven matches to be eligible for selection.

DESPITE plenty of on and off-field changes at the Western Bulldogs over the AFLW off-season, one stood out.

Coach Nathan Burke resigning after a season in which he panned his players in three post-match press conferences? Not a total surprise.

Several players seeking trades after a difficult season in which the Dogs won one match? Fair enough.

Appointing a general manager of women's football after the role was vacant for two years? Makes sense.
Naming a new captain while the old one is still around and hasn't stepped down? Hang on a sec.

After six seasons at the helm, Ellie Blackburn, who captained the Bulldogs to their 2018 flag and consistently led from the front as a champion of the game, was replaced as skipper in July after a new leadership selection process was introduced ahead of the 2024 season.
Taking the reins from Blackburn - who is the sole member of the Dogs' inaugural list still at the club - is close friend Deanna Berry, a player without Blackburn's profile but with plenty of tenacity and respect from the playing group, not least from Blackburn herself.

"I think the most important thing is that 'De' and I have a great relationship, and we have for quite a long period of time, we've known each other for a very long time, played a lot of footy together, so we know how each other work and operate on the field and then off the field as well," Blackburn told AFL.com.au.
"It's really important to me that I see her be able to be be successful, and enjoy the role and not lose herself in it too much.

"We've got a great connection too, so we can support each other in that.

"Whether it's at the club or away from the club, whatever that looks like, I'll make sure that she can be the most successful leader that she can be."
Berry, who joined the Dogs' leadership group last season, has evolved as a leader since joining the Dogs ahead of the 2018 season, including coaching a suburban men's side during the AFLW off-seasons.

"Something that we've spoken about, particularly over the last couple of years, is leadership in quite some depth and detail," Blackburn said of Berry's thirst to grow as a leader.

"Obviously, last year she was able to come into the leadership group for the first time, and and I know over the off-season, she's worked on it quite a fair bit and put a lot of work into it.

"So to see her take over the reins is a really exciting opportunity for her, and something that I'll continue to support her in."
Blackburn will serve as Berry's vice-captain, with youngsters Isabelle Pritchard, Isabella Grant, Jess Fitzgerald joining the leadership group alongside veteran Elle Bennetts.

"It's great to see some of the young talent coming through be able to step up in a in a leadership capacity," Blackburn said of the young pups.

"It's great to see not just De take over the captaincy side of things, to see players that I've worked with for a long period of time since they've come into the program, the likes of [Isabelle] Pritchard, Izzy Grant, Jess Fitzgerald, obviously taking the leap this year to jump into our leadership group.
"I think the time's right for those girls to step up and be be our next crop of leaders coming through.

"It's an opportunity for me to take a step back and still support from the sidelines and play more of a mentoring role personally."

With a new captain, new coach, new players, new list manager, new women's footy GM, the new-look Bulldogs travel to the ACT during AFLW week one to face Greater Western Sydney at Manuka Oval on Saturday.

Fear that the development of some of the young forwards might be impacted though. Weston-Turner barley touched the ball in the praccy game. Not much development if we're only getting it inside 50, 15 or 20 times a game.

Western Bulldogs forward Kristie-Lee Weston-Turner says making her AFLW debut this weekend will be a special moment.

One of four league debutants named for the Dogs’ Week 1 clash against GWS, the childhood Bulldogs supporter couldn’t believe how quickly everything has happened.

“It’s all happened pretty quick – I feel like pre-season went by just like that,” Weston-Turner told media on Thursday morning.
“It’s pretty special that I’ll be running out in the red, white and blue on Saturday to debut. I’m just so excited.”

The top selection in last year’s draft, the talented teenager isn’t letting any pressures of being the No.1 Pick affect her.

“I’m just going to back myself in. My coaches believe in me and I believe in myself, so I know that if I do the work behind the scenes, I’m capable of anything,” she said.

“I see my potential but there’s no expectation on me.
“I think that’s what I love most about this club – they just want me to go out there and play.

“I’m still young and I’m still learning, so I know I’ll be able to build on what I’m doing now.”

The remainder of the Week 1 team will be confirmed tonight at 6.20pm AEST.
