Noble and our pick in the 30’s (is it 33?) for GC’s pick 12?
Then how about we on-trade pick 12 for two in the 20’s and give one to GWS for Peatling?
So we’d effectively turn Noble and 33 into Peatling and a 20’s pick. I’d do those deals.

Yes. Beau needs to do whatever extra ball handling practise drills Titch, Pendles and Naicos do, in addition to normal training. Those three virtually never fumble.

Righto, it’s time for Perryman and Peatling to come out and declare that they both want to be Pies. It’s the right thing to do - to put all the other teams out of their misery. Get on with it boys!

Beau has every attribute to make it as a centre square mid except for clean hands. He fumbles almost every time he tries to pick up a ground ball and if he does that in the centre square then he’ll be nailed in a tackle by the time he eventually picks it up.
It's fixable with practise and a...
???
Changes in the picks pecking order via concessions has nothing to do with the quality of players available. If there’s an abnormally high/deep level of talent amongst would-be draftees then it truly will be a “Super Draft” regardless of which Clubs hold specific picks.
For our sake, I hope...
Of course not - but they’re all way better centre square options than Macrae, Lipinski, Sullivan and Long - and would buy us time for McCreery, Harrison and Allan to develop.

I reckon Peatling really is leaving GWS.
They’ve had a three-year contract in front of him for ages and he still hasn’t signed.
I don’t think he’d have gone as far as touring Melbourne clubs if he was just trying to squeeze some more $$$ out of GWS.
Dare we dream of Perryman AND Peatling...
When does trade period actually start?
Having missed Finals, the wait is excruciating. All that fiery Petracca stuff already feels like ages ago.
Please tell me that the pain will soon end.
(And let’s never miss Finals again, coz this really sucks.)

Probably Carlton, in which case we might pick up Kennedy cheaply. He and Perryman would certainly bolster our midfield as Pendles, Sidey and Mitchell move towards retirement.

Assuming that we can’t get Peatling, then Kennedy is a very sensible player to target, IMO.
There are big doubts that Mitchell and/or DeGoey will play full seasons next year and Pendles and Sidey are now well past being able to play more than brief cameos in the centre square. Allan looks the...
I doubt they’d do that, post-ACL. Too much jumping and landing in congested situations, knee-on-knee contact with oppo ruck, etc.

Kennedy from the Blues looks gettable for only a modest trade outlay. I liked him a lot as a youngster at GWS and he's still a quality player at age 27 or so. He played every game for the Blues this year (the only guy who did, I think) but wants more centre square midfield minutes than the...
Aren’t the strengths and weaknesses of Stephenson and Ginnivan almost identical?
Mercurial but also lazy, selfish and disruptive?
