We're genuinely excited about this release guys. Can't explain or speculate as to why there's a delay here in Aus (maybe it being footy season/Soccer world cup? I dunno) but yeah there are plenty of options to import the game if you can't wait. Luckily I get to play it at work each day :)
I used to run into the open goal and hold down sprint...my guy couldn't run through the goals so he would run on the line and the opposition couldn't tackle him.
Kinda feels good to point out a flaw in someone else's AFL game for once! :thumbsu:
Forgot to mention that unlike on the AFL games I can't reveal anything about the game that isn't in press releases guys/gals. So no point firing questions my way.
It never ceases to amaze me how you guys read into things and miss the mark. I don't know what we did to you melbournemartin but we've addressed 90% of your concerns this time around. Here's hoping you have a more enjoyable gaming experience should you choose to check out the game.
There was a hands-on playtest preview session at Codemasters and the reviews/comments are viewable at PlanetCricket.net

The Australian hands-on playtest preview session is at Transmission Games...
Hang on a sec. I hope you're not accusing me of lying?
For 3 years I answered Q's and took on board suggestions. Not once did I promise something that wasn't there. I think it would be more of a case that you guys read too much into something. :thumbsd:
You guys are reading way too much into a 30 second video. Wait for the official stuff to come through showing everything you want/need to know. Not sure when that'll be available though unfortunately.
Hopefully I didn't come across as a knob in the interview!
Testing is the responsibility of Codemasters. In fact any official comment on the game is their responsibility. I just wanted all you guys from the AFL days to see that we are in fact capable of great visuals in a game! :) There's a thread on planetcricket.net where everyone's dissecting the...
There's a long wait between now and 2010 so don't get too excited yet folks. Geez I wish we had a deadline like that in the past. I wonder what month in 2010 they are aiming for? That would give a more realistic idea of what to expect.
It's very easy to make those comments early on and set...
Time and budget were our biggest concerns. We never had an issue with talent/skills believe it or not. When you have a small budget you either get a big team for a very short time or a skeleton team for a long time. One thing no one ever knows about is how frustrating it is to get team lineups...
Not wanting to sound ungrateful but...I signed my 2 month old boy up as soon as he was born and his 'Baby' Pack arrived a week or so ago. Apart from the 'Baby Hawk on Board' car sign and an adult pillow sized pillow cover with 'Baby Hawk' in small writing on it the rest of the membership pack...
I must admit we got a heck of a lot out of conversing with you guys here on BF throughout the years. It's important to stay in touch with the passionate fans out there who'll buy the game.
BTW I have heard a few things about the new game from people I know in the biz and all I can say is be...
For the original poster...
I find it funny that you'd bag any positive opinion of Croady as it was in fact your club who drafted his younger brother Cameron hoping he could do the same thing! It would be naive of you to suggest that your club wouldn't want a player of his ilk at your club...
IR Gurus (now Transmission Games) actually has 100+ employees. The question is how many of Big Ants 60 are put on the AFL project.
I for one am very happy that someone is taking up the task of creating an AFL game for the public out there. (I am an expert on how hard that is to do).
For...
Sorry guys not allowed to say anymore until announcements are made.
Feel free to sign up for testing in the following testing rounds (apparently the current test day is fully booked out) so you can check it out for yourself.
Hi Guys, yeah I miss the AFL games too. Enjoying what we're working on now but really enjoyed the challenge of making AFL games and the feedback from you guys. Not sure when or if one is going to be made. Haven't heard anything from my end anyway.
I got very close to playing 07 the other day for...
It's not that we don't wanna make one...choose from any one of the reasons below;
- we're just busy on other things at the moment
- there isn't a market for a next-gen AFL game at the moment
- Sony who have the license have no plans at the moment for next-gen or the ol' PS2
