I may be wrong, but I did mention the Xbox release and pro teams, so I assume you are responding to me.
My post was just a legit question. I ain't suing them. I have the game on PS4 and 5. Just legitimately wanting to know if they "have to" release pro teams and the Xbox version.
I'm actually having a ball online. Offline can EAD, it's so bad.
Tackling is finicky, you just have to slow down and not panic or button mash. Actually, that goes for the entire game. Goal kicking while being tackled is OP. Marking contests DO end up in a ground ball a lot online which is good...
I think its working now. I played my mate last night, though I do have both versions of the game, I swear I was on the PS5 version and he only has a PS4.
My theory is people who are handballing the wrong way are using end to end camera or at least dynamic...? Never happens to me on side camera on PS5.
Also, agree that something monumental went wrong on release.
Just go to play now and use the right stick for the whole game. You'll see that it does bump and tackle occasionally, it's a weird animation most of the time when it does work.
As for jostling on the run, I spent an hour or so trying to do it with no such luck. Honestly, poor JNT was just...
Awesome, yes. Realistic, no. Why wouldn't your team have a player or two back there on the line? Also, shots after the siren have no one back on the line.
Steam patches from here on in and then on the XBox launch day, they update all versions of the game so they are the same and open up crossplay and pro team.
The radar shouldn't be there in set shots right? But yes, you can't turn it off and I'm pretty sure one or two other options in that same menu don't work either. I don't send tickets for those things because it's pretty obvious if you play for 2 mins, so surely the team knows already. Same as...
Someone actually talking about the game and figuring out it's mechanics! Where am I?
In all seriousness, I think that may have been my post you are referring to. I'd love everyone else's tips on things they may not think others know yet. Without tutorials, I'm sure there's many other mechanics...
The marking contests that end up being spilled are great IMO. Much better and more realistic.
Anyone tried experimenting with the right stick for tackles more? Can't have another go until tonight.
This is as it should be. Don't ever sprint until you are clear or get the ball to someone who is clear. Use right stick to evade or use ball movement to do it. You can't just sprint most of the time.
I'm sure the whole team management screen is getting a work over, right? Bugs aside, it's not very user friendly either.
Also... this thread's a very interesting social experiment on how much value different people place on $100. I've spent that much on dinner for two that was terrible, but I'm...
Yeah I've noticed the right stick does things like tackle or bump sometimes... now I know it only works if you press it in the correct direction thanks to whoever mentioned that before. Is this meant to be in the game? Is it a bug? Should it be in the Guide? I'm confused 😕
Pro Team will drop the same day as the XBox release I think. They simply won't release it until all platforms are up and running on the same patch. August gives them plenty of time to patch the remaining problems. Just hope it's not too late....
You know, the more I play this game online the more I'm convinced that some of the "bugs" I encounter are actually my fault in a way.
It's hard to explain, but not using the correct tackle modifier or pass modifier or paying serious attention to timing makes a huge difference. I'm still...
My only gripe with that would be having to not only find the player I want to change to, but then check which button to press too. Works in NBA as there are only 5 players on the court and the player position corresponds with the correct button to press, meaning you don't even have to look for...
