There were bits I thought were great, concepts I wish they have dived into a bit deeper. But overall, I wouldn't watch it again. About an hour too long, most of that unnecessary chase scenes. Some of the violence felt very un-Indiana Jones as well, it wasn't comical spike-through-the-head...

It does - but each person in charge of a controller needs a playstation account, I played with my kids this afternoon (3 of us on the same team). I guess if you want to split hairs (which I bet some people will want to do) it's not really "offline" if you need to have a playstation account...

one of my favourite games ever was wayne gretzky's on the N64, the checking in that game was so well done, i would love it if it was available in AFL23 though I understand it would be a bit "arcade" for some.

In addition to a "100 goals for the season crowd invades pitch" cut-scene and the ability to shirt-front a player into unconsciousness without getting suspended I'm hopeful there will be some unlockable legend commentators for star mode, Drew Morphett and Lou Richards for example, not sure how...

They'll be doing last minute motion capture of the pre-game speech and warm up drills and the song they sing after when the pies win.

How will "the bump" be handled in this game? Will it be available ala Wayne Gretzky hockey on the N64 and you can just destroy people. How would that affect any career mode? Your player gets reported and gets 8 weeks for one errant mash on the X button, a budding campaign gone in the blink...

it's in a similar world to supercoach, pick/buy the players you think will combine to be an amazing team and then test that out against opponents doing the same - but instead of just reviewing the stats after each round you can play with that team in the game. I was mad for it for a few years...
