It's not harsh at all, he basically side stepped a contest yesterday when the game was on the line. It was incredibly soft.
As to the Bombers game, he needed to chase harder. When the game is on the line you don't save your energy for the next contest. That play led to a goal for.the Bombers...
Switta pulled out of a contest in the last quarter where he needed to make contact. I don't know if he is carrying and injury, but that was unacceptable. It was really soft.
Last week against the Bombers, he jogged as a Bomber ran away from him.
Both of these examples were when the game was...
Wags has been great, his run and forward entry through the corridor has been good. He.has also been really good defensively. But we are a top 3 team and there is real competition for spots.
Sturt has been much more physical since coming back in this year, but his agility seems to be hampered by...
Nah looking good in the rehab group. He floats in and out of the drills and rehab his kicking looks pretty good.
We could do worse than Dmac and Sharp on the wings to be honest.
I'm down at the arc too.
The first half of the match sim was pretty physical. Fyfe, Serong and young for Purple up against Brayshaw, Brodie and Johnson. Sharpe v Stanley and Ras v Drizz.
Voss making it look easy. Knobel dominating Reid in the ruck contests.
Sharps delivery into the 50...
So you expect Jye to bring the ball to ground and crumb his own ball while taking contact in every contest that he doesn't mark?
I agree he is a great player and versatile, but he is only one man...
Purple doesn't suit me either, that doesn't mean I wouldn't jump at the chance to play AFL for the Dockers after being overlooked for 40 picks.
Other than his post draft interview, what has he done to give you guys those vibes?
Walker could be too, but he seems to have been groomed as a lock down defender.
There was one game this year where he actually took off a couple of times, and you could see the opposition crap themselves as he cut through their zone.
I know his disposal can be a bit iffy, and he is a great...
I think Sharp's long kicking could be very handy. Backing Freddy and Sturt to use their pace out the back in transition.
Sharp hasn't been playing at Suns, but has a similar record to Liam until this year and was taken in the same draft. His running ability is top notch also.
It would be good to see him hit the score board more, he would have to be close to our best field kick though. Takes the risky options and rarely misses, he also doesn't get enough of it for that to be selection factor. But I have been really impressed with that part of his game, added to his...
I'm not talking about his moon balls. He kicked to space in front in front of Lobb and he was able to outwork his opponent to the drop of the ball. That was Lobb's strength, he managed to take a few contested marks here and there but he wasn't very successful wrestling key defenders.Like I said...
This is an interesting comparison. I don't really rate Acres disposal and I think that Liam can execute more pinpoint passes, but what he was able to do was kick to the advantage of his target. His target had to work to get to the ball, but it was in front of the target and in space. A good...
All kids do, and probably more so around were our first pick will land. For every high risk pick that succeeds there is more that don't. You don't mind this kind of problem when you already have a top 10 pick or 2 in a club shirt when picking in the 20s.
I like the idea, do you think Henry would have a bit more trade value? Being a high draft pick and his form over the last month. Henry has shown he can contribute 25+ possessions a game, although Brockman is obviously more dangerous around goal. But you would probably be looking for him to fill...
Mate, within a couple of days you have gone from asking for an opinion from anybody who has seen Tholstrup, to saying he is an absolute need. The guy isn't even rated top 10, even top 20. I'm actually finding it hard to see anyone not rated top 10 as an absolute need for our list. If Cox goes...
