surely you go out every week and show respect for every opponent you play..... regardless of previous results every team is capable of making you look bad if you fall into that trap. the best sides of the modern era have always gone out and treated each opponent as equals and earned respect in...
Mate you were shut down after trying to make yourself sound like a hero. Im the mod here and if you keep up this rubbish I will delete your posts and have you banned from posting anywhere. Back in your box ok.
Credit where credit is due....the Magpies were a class above on Sunday, even without 10 top line players. Was good to watch the two Veterans Carmody and Matty Allen play on each other for a large part of the game. Honours went to MA up until the last quarter where boofa broke loose and drove a...
Got to agree with you there thinkbig, if ever the my beloved hawks were going to get some revenge on the pies it would be this week. However I think Mcgyver underestimates the Rovers ruck division and it would be at the pies peril if they did.
Whilst Paul Kirby is the standout ruckman in the...
For my part I think Brad McGrath generally writes very good articles, however his attack on J Mac seemed to me to be a little self indulgent and immature. His follow up article on Tuesday did his credibility no favours, however I'm not goin to write the bloke off completely over the whole thing...
The Sanson's have pretty strong family connections in the Lake Cargelligo area with the previous generations growing up and still residing there. Wouldn't imagine it would all be about the coin having said that.....
Keep the comments impersonnal or they will be deleted. If you don't like what someone has written then take it up with myself or another moderator instead of clogging up the board with pithy comebacks or rubbish posts.

I think the main aim was to keep most of last year's list together which has been achieved. Apart from Karl, the only other new fella at the club is Jake Platfuss, ex bushies boy and might have won or come 2nd in Finley's B&F last season as an 18 year old. Comes with big wraps and will be an...
What have I got to do with this? Honestly mate, don't understand why you've got this obsession with me. But kudos on predicting 'Penda's' initiation into Myrtleford's every second year spending spree in search of success. With the tobacco pullout and the drought, one wonders where the Saints get...
Just read about Scotty's move in the Chronicle. Doesn't really come as a surprise in the shadow of Knackers and Timmy moving. I think its a case of these boys wanting a more regular taste of Senior footy, regardless of the standard of footy. I think it was the three previous years of heartbreak...
Hmm well considering he shouldered the Rovers ruck duties solo for most of the year, beat 2006 VFL ruckman of the year Warren Carlyle both times they played on each other and even played a game after being in hospital the night before, it say it was a fairly "brilliant" effort on Jamie's part...
Couldn't tell ya the reasons Kage. Heard a rumour that Knackers wasn't enjoying his footy any more at Rovers but I dunno how true that is. Big Timmy is a bit puzzling because I believe he had the makings of a Snr O&M ruckman but with Jamie Bell's brilliant year and the signing of Karl Norman and...
Huge recruiting coup for Milawa with Anthony 'Knackers' McGuire and Tim Schuermann signing over the weekend. Knackers will be a class above in the O&K and I would almost say an early early favourite for the Baker Medal. Tim will outruck anyone in the comp and showed huge improvement in his...
Nah Mick doesn't pull on the boots competitively any more as he is an assistant coach at the Rovers, but he is still pretty active at training and plays a part in pre season work which he outdoes a fair few of the boys in. Super fit and could probably still get a few kicks if he played.
Not sure about Jezzas movements. Wasn't even aware he was leaving Shepp. If this is the case then hopefully he will come back to the Hawks, would be a great addition to the midfield.
Not bitter at all. Despite the rivalry between the two clubs I was more than glad to see our mates from across the road win it instead of another team, and Im sure most other Rovers supporters felt the same. And I was disgusted with the treatment that Hoppa got from the Nth Albury thugs as well...
Im not taking a shot at the maggies, just reflecting the opinions of some people at the club who mentioned it to me. As for Caruso and Pasquali, the fact that they were still running around is that they were still able to have an impact at the standard of footy that was being played. Just...
There has been talk of possibly a few boys going out with Occa due to his popularity amongst the lads. Fellas like Tim White who played a game or two out at Nth Wang during byes will probs go out but most of my mates and the talented top age 3rds boys look like they will be staying to play 2's...
Well the main task has been achieved which is to keep most of the list from last year together. Peter Cristoforo has signed on for another year which is pleasing and Jesse Silver and Steve McIntyre are also going around again. The only real possible loss is Daniel McLaughlin, whilst Peter Taylor...
I hear ya RBR. Quite unnecessary on my part I admit. I get hot under the collar when people have a go. Apologies to Tiger too for my behaviour.
Any news on McCormick and Trenfield's chances this week for the maggies? The pies two biggest ball winners, will hurt deeply if both dont play.
Well i noticed the lack of posting on the under 18's thread so though more discussion could be had on here. So you could have gone to the under 18s thread but doubt you would of got a tip. I apologise, wasnt aware that such posts would disturb people. And i must admit I quite enjoy Gamby's...
Let me put this clearly for you loser. You have no friends, stop hitting on me and I really don't care what you have to say anymore. Perhaps your line of discussion would be better suited on the Not Footy Related threads. Byeeeeee!
Tips for the thirds premiership? Wodonga clearly the form side all year with Rovers getting first crack at them this weekend. Albury smashed Yarra and face the Maggies who got an early jump on the Rovers on Sunday.
Wodonga V Rovers:
Wodonga are a bigger side but Rovers have pace to burn...
