Personally, I think he'll put the conflict aside and hopefully just focus on his football. He's arguably the most exciting player in our side, he just needs to find some consistency and string a few really good games together to build some confidence. He's got the talent, but does he have the...
I have mixed emotions.
Lovett can be an amazingly talented footballer but unfortunately, he's much too inconsistent.
I'm happy to keep him, but he needs to sort out his priorities and decide whether he actually wants to commit to this football club.
I heard that he was very unhappy about not...
Prismall, not because he's now on our list, but because I think that he has more to offer our football club than Thomson would have.
Tigers did very well to secure him though. He'll be a solid player for them.
To be honest, I'd still take the punt if he was there... Although ideally, you'd like a player like O'Keefe who has 3-5 years left in him.
I think we should be taking an established midfielder or ruckman with the pick. That's just my view.
Very happy with the deal.
Earlier in the thread I said that I'd be willing to have him at Essendon for no more than a third round pick, glad to see that EFC were thinking the same way.
He'll add a bit of skill into our midfield when he's fit enough to step out onto the park, he has some very...
Re: O'Keefe in PSD
As people have said, If O'Keefe nominates for the PSD then we're arguably in the best spot to land him.
I don't see any of the four clubs above us going after him. He'd look alright in the red and black I reckon.
If we were being realistic then I think that McIntosh wouldn't be going to those teams. Brisbane have Charman (maybe), Richmond have (Simmonds) and the Carlton, if they land Warnock, will have more ruckmen than they'll know what to do with.
As I said, I'd love him at Bomberland but just not...
I'd love the kid in our squad, and I think that we could be a real possibility of landing him if we can somehow get that pick twelve from Sydney.
In saying that, there is a lot of uncertainty about Swift, sure his results were good from camp, but I'm yet to actually see him play. I don't even...
I'd like to keep Winderlich. Clearly biased but he is one of my favourites.
I'd pick up White in the PSD for a short term fix for our ruck stocks. If of course there's nobody better when our selection comes.
How would we get him?
Does he have to nominate for the National Draft or the Pre-Season draft in order for him to be a chance to get selected?
I'd consider picking him up with our first selection in the PSD if he's still available.
Seemed to have a great TAC Cup season. I wouldn't mind if we took him at pick five. Although I would rather Hurley because he could be a future FB for the next decade given the opportunity.
THE BOMBER BOARD IS BACK!
This is great news.
Personally I'd take Hurley with our pick five, arguably the best defender in the U18 competition for the last two years. There are plenty of talented midfielders that will still be around come our second selection.
North Melbourne would want so much more than a third or fourth round pick. He's what Watson is for us. I wouldn't even contemplate trading Watson for a third or fourth rounder.
