the hampden league wanted 2 clubs to make 10. the best bet was always gonnat b colac and imps. they (all hampden clubs) were always gonna try 4 both. how many did they end up with?
nothin against that league, but it isnt an issue about clubs, maybe the vcfl felt it was an issue about the league...
lol @ the imps people having a whinge
i reckon little footy battler is right on when he/she says it is the silverspoon syndrome kicking in.
I don't think it was the most interesting post of late though, that goes to southeast when he/she said
"have you ever put your ideas in writing to someone...
these VCFL contracts arent too hard to get out of though.
The only reason west will try and keep him is if they feel he owes them something.
Why keep a disgruntled player though?
if worse comes to worse he could just rock up and play with west without caring too much and pick up a good amount of...
Mate you are right about 1 thing. He is going OS.
You are completely wrong about him being in Darwin.
Gee it must have been a different J. Imbi that was at touch footy last night then was it?
He WAS in Darwin playin footy. He IS in Portland at the moment. Fact.
Difference is Imps and Hamilton have a history of success. Same cant be said for heywood
he wasnt sinking the boots in at all. just telling it like it is thats all
this is just to funny :D
first it was kelly hasnt had a great season but watch out for him in finals
then he has 2 disgraceful performances and 1 good one
so now its look out for him on saturday
dont worry sooner or later u guys will get 1 right and you can say i told u so to most posters on...
We also dont play extra time in the home and away season.
im not sure if it is worth playing time on in the finals, but its fair for all.
the way you are talking they played time on in the extra time, did they play time on in the extra time?
im not sure but i thought it was 5 mins flat
what a load of crap this entire thirds talk is
if you say the vic clubs have an advantage by getting permit players then surely it is an advantage for the sa clubs to have kids in their system for a longer period of time
is it an advantage to have permit players (98% of them are under16...
i'm sorry i didnt think i said casterton were in sa.
i was merely pointing out that the three vic clubs imps, hamilton and portland have such a wide gap between them and every1 else.
btw that south era was the best i have ever seen in country footy truly amazing stuff
this topic took a quick turn
if you look back imps, hamilton, portland have won nine of the last 12 premierships in the u18 comp
hamilton will win it this year meaning 10 of the last 13
you can only see the gap for imps and hamilton with warrnambool now with the rebels
oh and outside of...
Rupert you have got to be kidding me! the SW league sabotaged Heywood's recruiting
great excuse and that is all it is, an excuse for the club to be lazy in recruiting efforts and if you are involved with the club you would either know this as fact or you really dont know at all and just...
It wont happen with clubs going 2 nother league
the vcfl still have to give it the ok and they wouldnt break up this league imo coz if 1-2 teams go then the entire league most likely will dispand.
And the aussie selectors must have thought merrett was not too shabby either!
I like u can only go by what you see, and kelly hasnt been the player that some in here have made him out to be.
If i was a betting man i would put a fair bit on that he has a very good finals series.
but as you say u...
^
nope its all porno kelly
it makes me laugh that football nut has a crack at merrett and then goes into bat for kelly
merrett has been good this season, not great, but good
it would seem the only people that think kelly has even been half decent are his mates on here or imps people...
heywood should be fine
not sure if they will ever get to the point where they are finals candidates year in and year out but they will never move out of the wb league if its up 2 them
there has been 17 different players put in for a clearance so far
a lot have been rejected
heywood only...
i would think the cats will be pretty competitive without pushing for a finals spot.
look out for them in 3-4 years time though because they do have a lot of young talent.
And that isnt just over hyping the young ones like a lot of clubs do, they will be genuine senior players in a couple of...
talkin bout if gepp signs with portland
imps lookin like they are losin a lot of players. more depth than any stars tho
also keep hearin that casterton is in a bit of trouble as far as losing a lot of quality players
keep an eye on the cats coz they may just fall hard this year
there is a distinct difference with heathmere.
almost all of the so called "85%" didn't get jobs because of football.
A lot of the ones that did actually got jobs at keppel prince because they played for Heywood.
Last year Heathmere had some jobs to hand out to recruits and that is exactly what...
how much does millicent get compared to the mse?
i would think they should get at least the same amount of exposure as the mse clubs.
Or do millicent players, supporters, sponsors etc just rely on the border watch.
