Dont think they were necessarily better but it could have gone either way. Big difference in the game was that Ivanhoe refused to play to the conditions and Rezzas did.

Tough, cold day at Kinglake. Hoes struggled to shrug off Kinglake all day. I can understand why it's hard to win there. Great options at the canteen inluding: roast beef rolls, chips, pizza and penne carbonara.

Good win for the Hoes today. Kilmore was close enough to make it uncomfortable but we held on well.

Old Eltham too strong for us today. Our blokes not disgraced but outgunned in most positions.

I think availability is going to play a big factor week in week out. Heard Mernda had a lot out today.

Mernda were the better side but we were happy to be competitive. Stars looking formidable.

I saw the first half of West and Kinglake so no idea on Epping but I suspect Hoes have got a big task ahead next week against Mernda who must be firming to be in the play off.

Looking like Mernda and Eltham are the stand outs. Big wins for Kilmore, West and Stars on the rebound.

Not when the opposition only scores 6. West had the chance to make it a 5 point game early in the last. Hoes have only scored 11 goals in our last two games so we may be well off threatening the good sides and maybe West are competitive midfield.

West pushed the Hoes all the way and could have won if a couple of chances had been seized. Hoes just happy to get the points in a scrappy game.

Hoes beat St Mary's from the VAFA by 11 goals. Not much to.be taken from it. Average standard and a lot of improvement needed but first praccy game and good to get a hit out.
