Everyone “recruited well”Disastrous start to the year for West
West pushed the Hoes all the way and could have won if a couple of chances had been seized.Everyone “recruited well”
West 0-3 and Kilmore just lost to Lalor.
Ladder starting to take shape.
They scored 2 goals in a game of footy. That’s a disaster for any side.West pushed the Hoes all the way and could have won if a couple of chances had been seized.
Hoes just happy to get the points in a scrappy game.
Not when the opposition only scores 6. West had the chance to make it a 5 point game early in the last. They scored 2 goals in a game of footy. That’s a disaster for any side.
@10571z, worst post, you have dropped. Don't kick a bloke when his down. They'll bounce back.Well done to Lalor, Mernda would be spewing they let “Desi” go
Just a joke, got a lot of pumping up for some accounts on this forum.@10571z, worst post, you have dropped. Don't kick a bloke when his down. They'll bounce back.
SWOOPINGTIME
Sorry Berty I can't help this week as I was not at the game last night due a prior engagement (before the game was swapped to a night fixture).Looking forward to a match report from Chump. Looks to have been a big tussle, Ivanhoe only kicked away with a couple extra goals in the past but don’t think they had it easy
Bellingham played round 1 for Albanvale too. Wonder what went on there…2 Epping recruits Reece Field and Bellingham played for Albanvale on the weekend after just one game with the pingers.
interesting as both players have a good history with the pingers coachBellingham played round 1 for Albanvale too. Wonder what went on there…

Kilmore were pretty crap tbh not to take anything away from Lalor they took advantage and were pretty much in front all day. Just hanged on in the end and scrapped a win.Good week for upsets with my Coburg Lions ending their losing streak, West Coast surprising Freo in the Derby, and of course Lalor doing the unthinkable against Kilmore. I was at the Collingwood vs Port game so I didn’t get a chance to see the Bloods game, can someone who watched it please explain how on earth they did it?
I thought even though they’ve recruited well and brought in Whitnall as coach, there was still a long way to go to catch up to the rest of the comp. For them to pull their first win over a team that wasn’t Reservoir or even Heidelberg West is pretty crazy, have to give them major credit there. Too long between drinks. Hopefully the start of something good for the Bloods, the bottom of the bottom division is a pretty bleak place to be so finals within the next few seasons would be awesome to see.
Having a quick look through the team from memory there is 12 new players listed for Lalor in the weekends game and 10 from last year.Kilmore are in a transition period, they are finding their feet after losing a lot of experience after a couple of finals series. It’ll take time but you don’t want to fall too far backwards.
Lalor I think Lance said bought in 11-12 new senior players which make a huge difference. Good on them, I thought they were zero chance to win a game.
D3 in great shape.
man if that the way it is then piss poor form from both players and the pingers better off with out two sooks at the clubDidn’t like starting on the bench on Good Friday is what I heard
