When they say injection into the stomach, what do they mean?

Injection isnt necessarily a problem. As mentioned many times on this thread diabetics inject every day, they wouldn't do it if they could take a tablet instead though. If they were taking peptides that are similar to HGH then these would need to be injected. Although many vitamins are...

Chris Judd - How many weeks?

Troll Poor record with poor sportsmanship related issues should have him with 4-5. Because he is Judd they will find a way to let him off. Meanwhile he did get a free kick while the boundary umpire reports him. If he is getting reported by one umpire surely that umpire should at least...

    Welcome to Collingwood Paul Seedsman

Don't encourage him. Next thing you know he is dropping crappy puns everywhere. Just quietly though I think that not many people actually got it.

    Seating - Grand Final!

at this point the worst I can think of is only winning by 5 goals;) Confidence, it comes from logical thinking when we are a better team. We all have doubts but it's easier when we have the team we have.

Pies to smash our way through to the flag!

Maybe the cats have not been at their best for the last month or so. Who have the cats beaten? Carlton - win (unbelieveable that this team made the 8) west coast - win (enough said) St Kilda - LOSS Freo - win (clearly not top contenders) Teams can only beat who they play. Collingwood lost...

Big Footy Grand Final celebrations plans - join the victory march!!

Re: Grand Final Function - if no tickets I will be going to the GF. Although I will be looking to go to the subsequent CBD shutdown. I have heard that VV will be going hard and no one will be able to stop him. I think in the end when the pies win there won't be a bad place to be.

    Bigger Get Jolly or Ball?

Jolly fills the need. Ball however will probably be seen to do more than what we first realise. He gets inside ball and we need that too. Jolly gets the vote now, Ball may be getting it in the same poll one year from now.

    7 & 5 now: Finish 7 & 3=top 4, 5 & 5=top 8

I somewhat agree with your outcome but could not disgree more with the losses. Saying we will beat the dogs because you think we can and we will lose to sydney because it's time, makes no sense. The swans are terrible at the G and we do match up very well as certain teams (ie. Hawthorn) do...

    Why the segregation?

come on VV, Jason makes pretty solid quilts that aren't see through, surely at least a sly hand under the covers;)

    Just got tickets.....I'M EXCITED

Are you actually David Rodan? It's good to know that even though you play for Port you still see the light. Remember to join in the chant. It's even better in finals.:D

    The chosen one, Scott Pendlebury

Don't Laugh at Neil, I reckon Neil is great. Wait, is he the guy that does the boots? I know Maxy is not the highest profile player but FFS he now wears Jason Buckley's number!

Remember football? And how your team isn't very good at it? By all means insult while you are still willing to show your avatar on BigFooty.

What is the obsession with the media and Dale Thomas?

If he gets 1% stats, they aren't worth anything. If he gets hard ball gets he doesn't do anything with them. Why discussing anything when you will change the value of any stat he has. Easier to post "I hate Thomas and cannot be swayed" then everyone will ignore you as they should have already.

1 Word to sum up this years finals so far

So far the two elimination finals each half time leader has lost. I thought the Collingwood game was excitng and the Sydney game was unexpected. I bet it would have been better if Essendon were repeating 1999 efforts? I would enjoy that. If all goes to predictions then it will be predictable...

    daniel harris to collingwood

I rate Harris and think that he will go cheaply. I liked the idea of getting involved in a Prismall/Harris threeway. That way everyone gets somthing they want.

    Delistings

How many people do we normally draft? even if you want to get rid of 7 and 3 to retire, we don't draft 10! No club has ever drafted anywhere near that many (new clubs aside). We will delist probably 3 maybe 4. That will mean drafting 4 or 5, more realistic methinks. Holland, Lonie and Egan...

Ben Cousins Should be our number 1 priorty.

spot on. Not worth the headaches involved. The collingwood brand is important and the last thing it needs is "Magpies pick up old drug addict" headlines. Right or wrong that is what would be said. The bulldogs pick him up the headline reads "Brownlow medallist goes to Dogs" PS nothing against...

What I'd like to see tomorrow night.

I agree. Although the loss to the club and the supporters is a bit too much. Remember last year going into fianls that we weren't good enough to win either? I agree with favourites about the too little too much thing but in the end the club can't change anything or else their word counts for...

    Why Don't Collingwood Ever....

I think there is huge reasons to watch but it won't necessarily mean that the guy who get 25 touches a game in U18's will be the same in the AFL. It is very difficult to find the guys that will be the whole package, when people in this discussion have said "good skills" they mean "Brownlow...

    Sonny Bill/Salary Caps/Drafts

The salary cap is not going to be dissolved because of a legal dispute over restraint of trade. The Sonny Bill thing has some (not much) merrit because of the ability to play overseas and earn more money. AFL footballers can't claim they could play anywhere else. The AFL can put whatever...

    Why Don't Collingwood Ever....

I realise that we are a Collingwood board but some things aren't just black and white. A lot of players that get drafted are pretty similar when you look at them in the TAC cup or equivalent. If the player that you are looking at has a better beep test it is more likely that the skills that...

    Teams--Pies v Roos

It makes me happy that we are confident enough to be able to keep the same team. I think a lot of the time there is replacements that are reactionary and not really helpful. That being said I think Wellingham is stiff, but surely he will get his go eventually. If Fraser gets it together...

    Line up against North Melbourne

JA desrves to stay in, 2 goals 5 tackles, not sure what he would have to do. (besides I have him in my dream team, scored 75) Goldsack was the worst of the defenders on the weekend but I still don't know if bad enough. We all know that Malthouse generally has an "in until you are out" policy...

    Fraser on the wing?

Goodes plays on the wing, while Josh may not be quite as fast, a fit Fraser is faster than most anywhere near his size. He is also one of the best bigmen when it goes to the deck. Maybe you have watched the wrong guy. It is also about the way that the opposition would have to match him up...

    Fraser on the wing?

I would find it very hard to take Wood or Bryan out of the team. Fraser's best form has always been away from the ruck contests. If he is fit then he would be very valuable as a loose man/forward flank.

    John Anthony: The Answer

I think that pack mark that he took was a very good sign. His development is the best of the young forwards and deserves his spot in the team. How many more goals was he going to kick when Medhurst was taking them all?;)

Science: Refs have natural bias toward the color red.

Quick Collingwood need a Ranga! Heath Shaw doesn't cut it. Maybe Daisy can go red next

The two hardest tips this week

Collingwood because it is at the G West coast because of Richo and being at Subi does help. on the Port v roos thing, roos have good record against port and will want it more, port don't care anymore.

Kid who has had the biggest impact at his club in 08

I find it interesting that when the argument needs to state that N. Brown does not have an impact, our midfield suddenly becomes great and our backline is top notch. Yeah, that is why he has been able to cruise through beating J.Brown and Pav. I should use these arguments in the future when...

    Should Fraser come stright back?

What does everyone think? I think that he is valuable but might be good to get a good game in the magoo's first.
