Given the success of the Bryan/Wood combination, could Josh move out onto the wing ala Matthew Richardson. I've never though he was suited to the ruck and this could be his oppurtunity to really have a big effect on the AFL

I would find it very hard to take Wood or Bryan out of the team. Fraser's best form has always been away from the ruck contests. If he is fit then he would be very valuable as a loose man/forward flank.
Is it worth trying Fraser in a role at CHF like Cloke plays and move Travis into the square?
Would be great if Cloke could kick straight. IMO I'd rather Fraser have a shot from 35 out than Cloke.
Fraser would get destroyed on a wing. Compared to wingmen, he is too slow, too unfit, too unagile, too poor below his knees, unable to win the contested ball.
Fraser is a ruckman / key forward ONLY!
Goodes plays on the wing, while Josh may not be quite as fast, a fit Fraser is faster than most anywhere near his size. He is also one of the best bigmen when it goes to the deck. Maybe you have watched the wrong guy.
It is also about the way that the opposition would have to match him up. Very difficult if you ask me.
We need a Big man up forward taking marks and "Kicking goals". Fraser has proved he can do this, and do it well. Although Wood deserves to keep his spot on the last couple of weeks form, I think he needs to make way for Fraser and rotate Bear and Fraser through the ruck, with Bryan being number one ruckman and Fraser playing out of the square.
For those who arent sold on his overhead marking and conversion watch this:-

He won his first Brownlow playing as a ruckman, and played in the ruck for another season after that before constant posterior cruciate injuries forced him into the midfield.Goodes is a midfielder, and has won 2 Brownlows playing there. He is 193 cms. Fraser is 202. Fraser is not faster than most near his size, and even if he was, he would be playing on the wing against people who aren't his size, and who are in fact among the fastest players in the league. He may be one of the best big men when it hits the deck, but he would be competing against smaller men, and they would kill him when it hits the deck. He is not a strong enough mark (ie Richo) to make it work.
I have not been watching the wrong guy.
he is carrying a town posterior - he won't be rucking any time soon, and I doubt you'll see him ruck in the VFL if he plays
Do you mean a posterior cruciate, or does he have a sore arse??
Is it just me or does Josh look alot happier in that video, ie. the celebrating of goals, strong marks and confidence...
It almost seems that these days, he is uninterested in his footy. A bit of passion injected back into his game would be the best thing - not the wing.
