Easily solved.
Pick up Goose with a late pick. Name him Rd 1 for his 100th as sub which we won't need to use. He'll be put on the long term injury list under old man's knee and we can then replace him in the midseason draft 👍
If he didn't mark it, he more than often brought the the ball to the ground. His second efforts were noticeable and his forward pressure was pretty good too. Those kind of things aren't represented in stats but played a role in us having a good finish to the year.
Don't know why but I had a feeling Raygun would be involved somehow.
The GWS players should know better though. You just can't go around and have a good time with your mates at a private function and not expect people to be outraged at your antics. /s

Glad he said we can't afford to be complacent. Because we don't get any benefit from the AFL we have to be absolutely clinical in what we can control if we are going to have any success.
Umpires are probably so focused on trying to interpret the rules and looking for off the ball stuff, that they don't see which players were the best on the ground. All they seem to remember is who touched the ball the most.
The recent Geelong game is basically our season in a nutshell. Poor first half. Excellent second half.
We had an unsettled season with many players missing a good stretch of games. We've seen guys come into the side and show that they can fill gaps when needed. We got a taste of some of the...
The difference in draft position is negligible. There have been plenty of top draft picks that haven't gone on to have great careers. There is still has an element of luck when picking players.
Even still, the picking of a player is only a part of whether that player becomes a good pick or not...
