It's probably weird and disturbing but I think I've actually seen the '05 GF more times than the '06. Iam so happy I've seen us win one but that '05 GF felt like more of a chance, maybe because it was the first time I was old enough to see we were actually a chance, whereas '06 I was much more...
So people aren't allowed on the internet, on a forum about footy (not tv/entertainment) and talking about coaching appointments without expecting an amazing TV show to be spoiled for them? Fair enough if you go to the movies board or on IMDB but they have a right to be disappointed/annoyed. In...
we'd have to iron out his on-field attitude by the soundsof things, but what does everyone think of heath shaw? i would love to see him playing for us, maybe our second rounder plus smith? we need pace and he would be awesome running off half back or on the wing for us. i know it probably won't...
Me and two friends actually encountered the lions group earlier on Sunday (around 4-4:30pm) in the National Hotel carpark (near the Dan Murphys at the GABBA), after we recognised them (there were 9 of them plus a few others I didn't recognise) they were awesome to us, one of them even bought us...
As far as modern pop goes I kinda like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. I've also been known to not hate EVERY Nicki Minaj song just because it's Nicki Minaj.
In metal, Avenged Sevenfold are one of my most listened to bands, I really like them, not sure what others think of them, they seem to get...
surely it can't really be denied that black sabbath and metallica are the greatest metal bands, defined their respective genres and although they have both gone to shit (haven't listened to 13 yet actually) their great albums are among the best that metal has to offer, closely followed by maiden...

WA - geraldton, kalgoorlie, port hedland
QLD - townsville, rockhampton, sunny coast
SA - port augusta, whyalla, mt gambier
anyway cbf keeping...
it's a shame when bands like this play at such generally awful festivals. new order last year got a tiny crowd (good for me tho i was right at the front) because 95% of the people who attend future are either throwing up or off their faces before the first act even comes on and good bands don't...
hey guys just wondering if there will be a live online stream somewhere this sunday for the gf. i live in brisbane so usually have to wait til 3am the next friday morning to see any wafl and really wanna see the game this sunday. the neafl northern conf final was streamed on youtube this past...
i'd be so pumped if this happens, my uni student budget might allow me to fly (or drive) to sydney from brissy, would love to go to melbourne next week but it's just that little bit more expensive. plus i got mates in sydney so free accommodation too ;)
clearly a goal. yes i'm biased. yes lions deserved the win, but they deserved the win last time we played them here at the gabba. that was a goal to darling, no doubt. congrats to brisbane though, played well, deserved the win. and no that's not sarcasm, i am genuinely happy for lions fans, just...
we are really crappy in wet weather, but so are lions so yay. about to head down to the chalk now for a couple of pre game drinks, hoping half the crowd are eagles.
p.s. my tip: lions up at half time, we win by 12 points
haven't read through the whole thread so dunno if it's been brought up but my pet hate is "Gee they were brave today" what does that even mean!? the bad team just got a little closer than everyone was expecting, they weren't any braver, unless they actually sacrificed themselves more in contests...

always thought it'd be awesome if the afl (and nrl, a-league etc.) somehow got the australian govt. to put questions on the census so we could find out true support figures haha. would also end the AFL vs. NRL debate too

seriously stats aren't meant to be equal, otherwise every game would be a draw, our players are more disciplined and don't give away as many sloppy free kicks. yes our players read opposition tackles and work that to their benefit, nothing wrong with playing to the rules.
