He's got the talents. He just need the right attitude Mr Jarrad Grant.
Work harder, run harder, lift harder, eat more...what all Full forward and CHF need is strength and power and a hard edge attitude.
Not counting the chickens before they hatch...but if we reach the Prelims again next year it will be an unprecedented consecutive successful era in the history of our club.
Watching Barry Hall in the R W B will be in itself the novelty for the first few games just like when Acka joined.
Missed chances, so blardy sad, in the end i concede the media/afl public is right and in games like this we lacked a power forward to take a few grab. No point blaming the midfield kicking it long to a contest when the F50 is so crowed.
...and don't forget that when we are in front by 3-4 goals to keep going, keep trying, keep pressuring and persisted until the final siren. There is no second chance, no tommorrow, so fly the flag for the club, for your supporters, for your club, for your team mates and most importantly for...
Re: New rumour re dal santo
If we are relying on a Dal Santo injury to give us half a chance then we might as well not show up.
Dogs to win with or without Dal.
The difference between the Bulldogs and the Crows is we are better at pulling the trigger style of game (attack at all cost), we still have a very high number of inside 50s against the saints except they are haphazard and were easily picked off. Most of your goals was from these rebounds.
If we...
Why is that? Rightfully deserved for being in such terrific form in the last month or so.
We must not play the "underdog/back to the wall" card any longer. We must walk with a proud gait and stride like a champion and believe in ourself and our ability.
Hit em hard doggies!!!!
Everitt attitude is a developing tall and you can clearly see his changing attitude in Rnd 22 against Collingwood. Determined and attacked the ball and the man, he will fill out more and learn to use his strength/size and power.
We may have a key forward in the making here people.....no trade
Re: Dal Santo Out- Ankle.
Cooney is fine.
Griffin is fine.
The only doubt at the Bulldogs are;
Murphy (Carrying sore knee, weren't as enthusiastic as the other boys)
Minson (didn't look happy on Tuesday training due to injury)
Re: If Minno doesnt play...
Minson out.....i would bolster our defense with including Williams...Hudson will hold his own and will be supported by Williams/Welsh.
Definitely a team finishing with 22 fit players win consistently more than team finishing with injured player that missed considerable period (more than a half). I say it would be around 80% of the time.
unchange for me.
I like Callan as he provide the hardness and grunt in the back that the is really appreciated by Harbrow and Hargraeves. he can certainly play 3rd man up to help out either kosi or reiwoldt.
I also like Welsh, he gives us the ability to change strategically during game, going...
I didn't say the extra space at the G will benefit either team but what i am trying to say is we have learnt from our losses against the saints and will not hand over the ball so easily. It will be low scoring but we will have more opportunistic goals as our quicker forwards will have more...
You can only learn from the best, not exactly identical as you have tall forwards, but Eade did came out and said that the defensive rolling/contested zone was copied after the loss to the saints game in Rnd 17.
You have murdered us on the rebound due to turn overs, the key here is that you...
Dogs will win because we will play your game, giving you a taste of your own medicine. We will denied you the ball and give no space to Roo and kosi.... our more efficient and smartness around the F50 (aka) will steal us a few extra goals to get us just over the line.
Low scoring...Bulldogs 95...
Ward has the right attitude/skill combo in a similar mold to the Joel Selwood but where they are different is Ward takes the ball away from the pack bursting through tackles while Selwood will dish out a handball to a mate. Ward style will win him a brownlow in the mold of hard contested/pack...
