VAFA finally release a statement - https://www.vafa.com.au/news/2024/09/18/vafa-statement-u19-division-2-grand-final/
Up to you what you wish to believe. The well-written corporate piece that claims it was a 'protected area' infringement, or the multiple people who were directly told by the...
Imagine thinking that what happened on Sunday is in the best spirits of the game and what we should be aiming for. Utterly baffling stuff.
Not to mention that the VAFA have now completely twisted what happened on the day into a response that suits them. The umpires at the ground told anyone...
Couple of umpires who more or less got together and thought here’s our chance to decide a Grand Final.
Whole season comes down to them. Unbelievably disappointing.
OC have protested the result given that the umpire lifted both arms to signal the end of the game before anyone even ran onto the...
Shithole is far too strong. Ground is still in reasonable condition after council finally spent some cash refurbishing it in the offseason.
Christ Caulfield were young on Saturday. Credit to 'em for making a game of it after it looked pretty one-sided at half time. Old Camberwell not thrilled...

Page 2 of The Age this morning Max! Hoers making waves. Rendered pavilion looks epic.
Hopefully there's nothing in these objections from the community. 20 hours per...
Beauy looked a proper team yesterday even without Nowell. Great run in the 2nd half and they dragged themselves over the line.
Camberwell will be kicking themselves that they let it slip, especially so late, but if you only kick one goal in the 2nd half it’s tough to complain about losing the...
Can you stop trying to have a political argument in our VAFA footy thread?
One bloke had the virus at the protests that we know of. He wore a mask all day.
There were no new protest linked cases today - More good news for footy.
Things still trending in the right direction for a VAFA return...
Geez I dunno Max. Got all the respect in the world for the decorum you bring to this board and the situation is very unfortunate, but that’s not a malicious hit for mine. He’s not even looking at the OI player.
Two weeks for being an idiot and raising his elbow is fair, but his intention seems...
Lol bizarrely pedantic from you Bedders.
FWIW I’ve played against Willy every year they’ve been in C and have nothing but respect for pretty much all of them. Play a good quick brand of footy and mostly good blokes who’ll have a chat in the rooms after. Done their time in C consolidating after...
The double-drop has only happened twice in the past 5 years? Three if you include Werribee quitting the league after dropping out of B.
In that time a B grade side dropping into C has won the C grade flag 4 out of the 5 years too.
Can't really agree with this based on results so far.
Through 4 games I have:
Willy well clear on top. They're talking of names to come back from VFL too. Well placed.
Ivanhoe & Mentone battling for 2nd & 3rd. Aside from Ivanhoe's bizarre loss to Ajax their results are to me the 2nd most...
Well Fellas
As they say in the classics, all good things must come to an end.
After seven consecutive finals losses, the boys down at Marcellin have managed to win one.
Beginning with a 1 point loss to Mazenod in 2012, the streak included three consecutive straight sets exits in 2013, 2014...
So has anyone figured out this bloody division yet?
Team sheets say a more or less full strength OH got done by Hampton.
Ivanhoe can't beat an already relegated Kew. Well done to the Kew boys.
OG off the back of three straight wins got handled surprisingly comfortably by OC.
Stuffed if I...
Hardly surprised to see Bedford taking another poorly conceived snipe at OC, for the sake of information though the main oval was free from 1, but at Willy's request we delayed by 15 to allow the ressie's to finish for availability of trainers.
More importantly, the game was an absolute beauty...
Another insipid performance from Old Camberwell at Glen Huntly Park unfortunately. Very similar to last years result.
Well done to your boys Scruff. Hardest forward line in the league to match up on height wise and plenty of mids that did the business as well. Thought the Caulfield finishing...
Lol indeed. Couple too many beers after work getting the better of me.
Still interested to know if anyone's got anything to report on the new ground though
I didn't hear in the offseason that Willy had made the move away from Trevor Barker.
Any insight in here as to why and what the new ground is like?
Will be interesting to see how that plays out too as I always felt Trevor Barker was a massive home ground advantage with the longer drive and the...
Goodness me fellas. The dross I had to read through to get up to date in here was ridiculous.
Anyway, finally the 2017 season is almost upon us. Won't bother hiding my affiliations. I'm an Old Camberwell man looking forward to a big year.
Some thoughts on teams from the whispers I've heard or...
That article is pretty different to what everyone on here has heard. Doesn't mention wanting to go home once. Almost sounds to me like it might've been his agent feeding the HUN trying to push Reece's offer up.
I'm worried about losing him now though. Heard from a source in the footy department...
Just read on Twitter that the iasbet iPhone app has been released tonight. Sportsbet's as well I assume. Seems they pulled their fingers out and just got it done before the biggest racing weekend of the year
same. What do people think the odds will do? is it worth locking in the fixed price now or early tomorrow as he'll probably come in? or would you take the city super price, and hope that one of the tab's offers a nice price?
just found this on their website
Coming soon…. iPhone app – currently in development, with a view to being made available for this year’s Spring Racing Carnival.

IASbet have just released an Android app this morning. It's identical to their mobi site. One of the better apps, as you can quickly scan through the most popular sports on a ticker on the home page.
Also any update on how the sportsalive saga is going? asanque?
it's tough because the lines they put up tend to have changed by game time, so you end up getting 1.70 / 2.25 sort of markets. If you're looking for a slightly lower line, or you're really confident and want a higher one it can be useful, but generally it's not of much use
channel ten just said that someone dropped $500,000 on collingwood at $2.15 with sportsbet
Edit: Agreed that these betting agencies are never very believable with their big bets though. Anyone ever look through sportingbet's? they're always ridiculous
