It's an error/incorrect assessment of Holmes... Simple a that... The person giving out the grades is wrong 100%.
Holmes is A grade and could push up to A+ if he keeps improving.
It wouldn't shock me if he won a Brownlow.
Terrible call by whoever rated him B+.
If Holmes is a B+ then my boy...
I'll eat my hat if Bruhn ever gets to Holmes' level of the last year or so, which is AA squad range (what Holmes will be is a bridge way way way too far for Bruhn IMO).
I won't complain if that happens though.
Close is a very solid team player. Clearly in our best side.
In saying that... He's the kind of player I'd be happy to lose if a team offered overs for him.
Not if they are 11 "meh" games.
I don't currently know what Geelong's plans are with Martin.
All I know is that if he plays, I hope he plays well—and if he plays well, I hope he plays a lot of games.
It's wild that I missed Bruhn not even getting a mention.
Assume it was an oversight... but you never know.
In all seriousness, it shows how hard getting into the team will be if the list is healthy... If Guthrie and Martin are flying and Bruhn is in, then Atkins/Bowes/Duncan could be in trouble.
Decent starting team.
Hopefully Guthrie is going well enough to force his way in.
Martin could be earmarked to play with a good preseason... the talent is there.
Happy for MOC and Bews to stay out of our best side.
None of Mullin, Clark, Knevitt, COS or Clohesy made the EMG list... so can't...
It was an absolute Barry Crocker of an effort by West Coast's WA talent scout to let Humphries go to another club.
Hopefully I can say the same thing about St Kilda and Hofmann in the future.
I agree... system is fine... DVI is terrible.
They are changing the DVI points next year I believe (should of happened years ago).
Looks like the Lions got Levi just in time.
In saying that... other clubs not making certain teams pay top value for players hasn't helped.
So some teams get a...
Hoffmann got a bit of Dylan Grimes about him.
Grimes was also a late pick from memory.
Hopefully the Hoff makes the Aints not matching for basically stuff all points look stupid.
Nothing would make me happier than to see Hoffmann (and Cole) go on to having very solid AFL careers after my most lolled team “The Aints” could have had them both but decided against it.
Time will tell.
We might have zero interest in playing him as a back.
Playing back would be far easier than forward though imo.
At 200cm with great speed and agility he should be able to keep up with any tall forward… just gotta hope he can actually play the game.
Obviously will take...
Agreed and this is why the F1 for Dodson talk blew my mind and had me extremely worried.
We have our young up and coming rucks.
Surely Molier was taken with the thoughts he could be trained up in possibly another positions due to his athletic profile and height… key back or key forward...
Marking is clearly this guy go. Has very strong dukes.
Hopefully he has a few more strings to his bow though.
Clearly Wells rates him taking him with our first selection... although I like the athletic prowess of our next two picks more.
When the Aints have had a look at him and said ... Nahhh... It makes me worry.
They said he is a 2.86 20m sprint so they listened to my call for speed.
In Wells we trust.
