Good point GC26 , his greatest strength became his greatest weakness eventually.
The zip n zag became a liability when he used it too much and ignored the first option - he would get into trouble and I dare say became unpredictable to his teammates which destroyed flow to our game.
Zip n Zag might have worked as a junior or even when he first started but the game has become far more defensive and pressurised now , you need to sum things up so much quicker now and take the best option quickly.
Excellent observation F2G, spot on and along with his extremely poor turnovers under 'no pressure' at times was his major downfall. Brendan really should have gone on to be an excellent AFL player, such a shame but he brought it on himself.
