I think what he was saying was he'll be named in the team tomorrow but is no certainty to play.
They need to name him in case he can play.
Does that make anymore sense?
In the last couple of weeks I've really come around to the idea of bringing King in for Blake. I saw Kingy in a VFL game weeks back (his last before the knee op?) and he was excellent. If he can play that role in the seniors, I don't think many people on here would argue he's a better option...
I reckon Jimmy is great odds right now (shame I put a few on while he was in a bit). He played at least two or three best one ground games early in the year. I wouldn't rule him out. Let's hope he has a massive last two months of the season.
What actually is the criteria for the rising star, does anyone know? Is it based on how good a player's season was or who is more likely to go on to become a better player?
Pretty pointless from the club to play these mind games. The VFL game is right before the AFL game. Kangas are going to know that morning whether King is playing or not.
Grima is a rookie-listed player, can't play seniors unless he's promoted. Been in good touch in the VFL though, kicked a couple of bags the last two weeks and should have had another the week before against Sandy - kicked about 1.5 that day.
I'd like to see Djerrkura get a run this week. Was...
They only have one open session for the week, and that's it. So unless you're going to Tassie, you're going to have to miss out for the week.
What a warm, inviting club it is.
Has to be promoted off the rookie list first. The club decided not to elect a nominated rookie after Joel Reynolds did his knee. It would take someone to go on the long-term injury list before he can be promoted now.
But I agree, he is a very promising player. A bit of speed in the team can't...
Need I remind you of the last time we pulled off a major recruiting coup from West Coast - a wonderfully talented player by the name of Brett Spinks.
We've stolen a player with the talent of Judd before, we'll do it again.
Agree with most of that Cat Fanatic, but where do you fit Wojcinski into all of that? I reckon put him in that spot where Egan is and put Matty on the bench.
Pretty good depth in this side, they ought to deliver this year.
Don't be fooled into thinking Nova play less ads than other radio stations. They might not play more than two in a row but they play them a lot more often. I reckon they probably play as many, if not more, than other stations.
I'm glad to see other people thought Pris wasn't great. Couldn't believe it when I saw him named as their best. Turned he ball over quite a few times. But that's OK, even future superstars are allowed to have an off day. Still the pick of the bunch.
Thought Gamble was terrific in that first...
Subtly, yes, but not as publicly as obvious and Seven and Nine. Newspapers have a go at each other as well. In fact, everyone does it do some extent - battery ads, cereal ads, they all knock each other. But I don't know that any of them go so out of their way to sabotage and bag each other. I...
From my understanding, the review is being put to the board today, not being released to the public.
I don't think we'll hear anything until the board decides on the recommendations from the review.
