Rumour Bluemour Discussion XXXV - 'Loopy' Season has begun

Elijah offers so much more than Hewett and Kennedy. so would happy for him push them out. The question is can he get his body right to do so. Also Hewett and Kennedy will always give you 100%,, Elijah will need to do likewise, then it is a no brainer.

Rumour Bluemour Discussion XXXV - 'Loopy' Season has begun

I think the aim for Cunners, is to get a full preseason under his belt and spend majority of the time in the midfield in 2024. He would offer a big point of difference to our midfield. The question is whether he has the tank to do so.

AFL Grand Final 2023 AFL Grand Final - Carringbush v Brisbane 🏆

You subtract pendles, sidebottom and howe and they are well placed. But it is not about them. The question is more about whether we have the list to win one. Too end talent is there. But our list doesn’t have X factor, our midfield is too one paced and we don’t have the kicking skills across the...

AFL Grand Final 2023 AFL Grand Final - Carringbush v Brisbane 🏆

How do I feel right now, our club is amateur. Tigers win 3 of 4, pies now win one. 23 years since our last one. Is our list balanced enough go win one, I’m not convinced. Unless we can inject some pace and skill, I don’t see it. Maybe I’m just flat from seeing the pies win. Where is the Carlton...

From memory Kemp played that role in the 18’s comp when he was touted to be a top 5 pick before his injury dropped him down.

    List Mgmt. 2023 List Management

When hawthorn were selling off their veterans last year, I honestly believe we should have made a play for Breust. He would be perfect for our forward line. Possibly one year too late now. We also desperately need some outside run with pace in our midfield to compliment our current midfielders...

Preview 2023 Rd 14 Carlton vs Gold Coast Sunday June 18 1:10PM @ MCG

This year has proven you can’t play cripps, Kennedy, Cerra and Hewett in the same midfield. The lack of pace when they don’t win the footy is a killer. Plus Hewett has been nothing but ordinary this season.

    Coach Michael Voss

What I’m struggling to put my finger on is where are the runners from behind the ball and why are our players so hesitant to reward the runner. It is the modern game and the best way to break through a zone. I get we don’t have the best skills to execute, but trying has to be better than the...

    Coach Michael Voss

The most frustrating thing about his coaching, is how little he changes during a game. For example our small forwards are struggling, so why not give them bursts in the middle to get their hands in the ball, all other clubs do it. Also Kennedy wouldn’t hist best role be playing that diusty...

    Sad....

Carlton of the 70’s, 80’s & 90s compared to the 2000s is two completely different clubs. It’s sad but the club is broken and going nowhere fast.

    Coach Michael Voss

Club is a bottom 6 side since round 10 last year. Vossy”s game plan, if you can call it that has been found out. No plan B. Pies have a less talented list yet look at the difference, they all know their roles. At some point you think he would get over his stubbornness and pick Dow. Not that that...

Preview 2023 Rd 9 Carlton vs Western Bulldogs Saturday May 13 7:30PM @ Marvel Stadium

Hasn’t been the same since the injury in the Collingwood game last year. Looks slow and scared and not flying for intercepts Hopefully he can get some confidence back. But definitely not the same player

Autopsy 2023 Rd 6 Misfiring Blues drop their bundle again

The concern is the game plan if we don’t win the contested ball. We have no run, we don’t ever go through the corridor. Our switches are so slow. And our forward line is too crowded. Our players don’t spread. We hardly ever make that kick that breaks open the game. There is limited forward...

    Bluemour 'Silly Season' Edition XXXIV

Every premiership side needs at least 5 Lewis Young’s. More than played his role this year and has cemented himself in our best 22 hopefully for a long time. Premiership sides are not built off 22 superstars.

Maybe those saying pick 6 is too high for cerra are the same people who said we shouldn’t have drafted Walsh at pick 1 cos he was too vanillla [emoji1787] A 21 year old who has already had 4 years of development and shown lots of signs of elite ability and getting better every year. It’s a no...

Defence is played all over the ground. May and Lever are great players, but they are even better due to the pressure applied up the ground and two way runners in their team. Disciplined team footy side.

Bluemour Melting Pot XXXII - Reaching fever pitch! 🔥 🔥 🔥

This next period is the most important and defining time for this club if we want to get back to the success we all crave. In some respects even more so than the head coach hire. The club needs to not fail Voss as they did Teague and others. They need to surround him with high caliber...

Surely it is all a big mistake and Voss has been mixed up with one of his former premiership teammates to be our coach. One can only hope this is all just a nightmare!

Wasn’t there rumors Elliot Yeo wanted out of WC earlier in the year. Not saying SPS gets it done, but if he got over his injuries would be handy.

First player crippa should call. Lots of similarities. Couple years back Ollie struggled as captain, as a big bodied mid struggled to cover the ground and was pretty banged up. Worked extremely hard and completely changed his game.

This. He has been rejected for 4 senior positions since being sacked by Brisbane. Including twice with us. Very backwards move for the sake of getting someone with “experience”.
