too true.
I'll give you a tip Jubair - state league div 2 is no great shakes. there would be far better players in state assoc - they just choose not to play state league.
you're an idiot. does it really matter how much aspley beat kenmore by? it doesn't change the fact that aspley is a poor team by the competitions standards.
i heard that the game timed out in the last quarter waiting for a uni player to be loaded into ambulance. apparently the ambulance took a long time getting there. queensland ambulance excuse was that it spent most of the afternoon taking the kenmore coaching staff to see shrinks. post...
hey bear we played you guys last week. what's happened at kenmore? you seem to have lost a few players since last year. was that the same coach you had last year - does he still warm up with a few smokes before the game?
well it was peaceful without you hartlett. i have written to the administrator hoping to get you shut down for good. In the meantime, how's Forster's hammy? is a real bad injury or just a few weeks?
no bigger joke than mayne in the pineapple cup though. those guys need to drop down a level to State Assoc, rebuild & enjoy their footy. I notice sandgate smashed them last weekend & rumour has it that Sandgate has once again recruited poorly this year and will be a chopping block again.
trust me mate, if brookesy can make your seniors you are no way good enough to match it with division 1 teams. you may make division 2 finals, but you'd be a hell of a long way off division 1. brookesy is/was a good player but is too old, too slow now.
sorry mate, i don't know 'cause I haven't been down to the club for a few weeks (i'm not palyin this year). saw a few practice games but won't be able to get there for a few weeks - still interstate.
ask hartlett, he seems to know everything.
You guys tip with your heart (or lack of it) and not your head. I've seen a few practice matches this year there is no way that the competition will be so one-sided. My tips for this week:
Coorparoo by 12 points. No bias attached here, but we're looking Ok and we are at home.
UQ by 24 points...
i think you would agree though that a strategic relationship between Western Magpies - Kenmore Bears, based on more than just magpies sending cast offs to Bears, would benefit both clubs. Unfortunately such benefits would be some time into the future - I can't see how either of them will win a...
I love your loyalty Bear. In the face of everyone talking Kenmore down I too wouldn't write them off yet - though a GF may be a little bit beyond them. It all comes down to game plan and strategy. Last year they had the players but were a bit underdone in the coaching dept. Hopefully they've...
I admire your loyalty to your club and your willingness to predict so far into the future. Saw our guys play Uni on the weekend and must say I thought both were quite good for this stage of the season. We were a bit undermanned so would hope that we will improve on that showing. Uni were...
Well said Graham. I think you should all be mindful that you play footy because you love it. Sadly I can no longer play due to bad ankles, but I stiil love my club and the mateship it provides. Sportsmanship and respect for the opposition should be paramount. There is a place for passion...
Yeh Gibson won the Joe Grant last year and will be with Coorparoo I think, so I've been told (I haven't been around the club at all this year).
Shame about Kenmore. Should strenghten Uni a bit though I guess though the sad thing there is that their season goes off the rails when it's Uni...
There seems to a lot of spite and anger on this forum compared to last year. I've been out of the country for a while - what has sparked the sudden interest in Kenmore? what's happened there? Their performance last season seemed to be very good.
Back for the first time this year, changed my login cause a few worked out who i was last year.
to win: Coorparoo, Wynnum, Yeronga, Alex
Robina, Redcliffe, Logan, Ipswich, UQ
Haven't seen much news on Cooperoo. What's happening there?
