Positionally (KPD opposed to KPF) and age wise I think makes sense to retain Miller over Moore. Especially if Balta's anticipated role for next year is unclear or not in defence.
Don't think any if those delisted had a future at the club... Apart from the emotional attachment to Townsend...
Has performed well at VFL level, leading some Tiger fans to want him in the best 22. But when he has played at AFL level he has been underwhelming.
Likely to go for a low/token pick (50+)... If he can produce his VFL form at AFL level then whoever picks him up will have a bargin, if he can't...
They're turning into the AFL's Dad's Army...
Chris 'Salty' Scott will start dropping " we're doomed, DOOMED!" and "they don't like it up 'em" into his team talks [emoji6]

It's intriguing the arguments as to what Ellis is worth.
Originally pick 15...since then
170+ games
Best 22 in the currently dominant side
2x Premiership player
Regarded as a good character to have around the club both on and off the field.
Regarded has being an excellent trainer with a strong...
I think the 2017 pick ended up being Petrucelle and 24 became Parfitt
Which makes it Scrimshaw/Narkle/Parfitt/Petrucelle vs Prestia/Caddy/Graham.
I was already in the camp that says we tend to over-rate high end draft picks vs. established talent but still... Bloody hell we did well out of...
Can't hold Toby Greene responsible for the sins of his father.
There's plenty enough to dislike about the eye-gouging, cheap shotting grub that he is responsible for.

Stressed for about the first 5 minutes, when the umpires didn't pay the mark to Reiwoldt and then paid a free against Lynch for contesting the ball... Thought we were going to get done by the umpires.
Then Trent nailed Mumford in a tackle and I just knew we'd do it... Most relaxed I've been...
Thanks for the service Brando... Go out on a high and win another flag!
Sad to see you go but I reckon this is a win-win-win for all involved.
We get the much needed cap space and draft compensation, you get set for life and GCS get a 170+ game (hopefully) dual premiership player, who's well...
Vlaustuin? Graham and CCJ were also both SA captains iirc.... added to Lynch/Prestia I think we'll be ok on that front. Also think Caddy/Stack have leadership qualities in their own kind of way.
Lots of chat about Mumford going postal because he's got nothing to lose. Would laugh if he got accidentally knocked out in the 1st Q...
That said the fat campaigner is more likely to have a heart attack trying to keep up with the pace of the game.
In all seriousness with Nank and Soldo...
6 of one half a dozen of the other... Only need to be off by a little bit to be vulnerable. Collingwood were off by a little bit...if we're off by a little bit the same could happen to us.
But if we are on we can do some serious damage to GWS.

Going to be a classic... Unlike the two losing prelim finalists (who bat deep in the midfield but are lacking elsewhere) both GWS and Richmond have stars at both ends of the grounds as well as in the middle.
Remarkable to think that Richmond were the worst team since Fitzroy and trying to...
Really was incredible... What a team orientated man. He must have known with each extra knock on that shoulder, each tackle, each contest that playing in the grand final that little less likely, and he still gave his all for the team.
Many players wouldn't have both the mental fortitude and...
Of all the footballing traits you could pick up from being at the same club as Dangerfield and Selwwood... Miers chose staging for frees. [emoji849]

Phenomal win... Not the way we played but the way we fought and fought to win.
Lynch, Houli and Prestia were all incredible.
Jack Graham that was the stuff legends are made off. Dislocating your shoulder in the 1st Q and fighting through the pain to play a good game in a prelim.
Reiwoldt...
Agreed.
At risk of sounding more pretentious than normal... I'm not sure that most people get that it's NOT a statue to commemorate Tayla or her achievements but has taken an image of her (a pretty iconic one fwiw) to represent something else. This distinction between commemoration and art is...
What's the story with Wines?
Have seen his name mentioned a few times... Out of the other SA names mentioned (Crouch/SPP) he's the one I could see really flourishing at our club and fulfilling his potential.

When this week gets downgraded to a fine on appeal...
For me it's increasingly clear that opposition players have to take matters into their own hands to 'deter' Greene from eye gouging as it is clear the AFL/MRO won't.

I'd worry about such poor membership number increase after your first flag in 44 years... If you can't pull in new members then when will you?
Another sustained period of failure and it will be a one way ticket to foldsville.

We'll give them a 100 pt flogging...
Selwood, Taylor and Ablett all to retire in despair.
Dangerflog to fake a coma for the entirity of 2020 out of embarrassment.
Scott to appear on 360 and claim the moral victory.

Get your point but I think Higgins is too old... If we're good enough to win a premiership this year sans Rance...then i'd rather focus on succession planning.
E.g. Bringing in players like Lynch who's not only high quality but also is young enough to be at his peak when Reiwoldt retires.
On...
With trading out Stengle last year, losing J Higgins for 2020, Bolton playing higher up the ground and Butler seemingly on his way out. We do need to have some depth small forwards...more than just aarts anyway. Would rather keep Weller than Menadue but that's not saying a lot.
