Most of the big memories have been mentioned but a few specific moments stick in my mind
- Troy Cooks bump on Mitchell White in a derby.
- The Freo chant after we lost the final in 2003
- James Clements run down of the Geelong player
- Mcmanus's goal after being cleaned up by Wirrpanda

Geez this is a blast from the past.
Its funny how time dulls the memory. I can't remember the game we were ranitng about but can vividly remember the wins against Hawthorn and Adelaide that year.
Conrats to Grover on a great effort.
Has anyone noticed the article on the west website has an accompaning picture showing Grover in this years jumper with the old logo and reebok as the sponsor. Is it a legit picture or have they been playing with paintshop...
I may be wrong but I think the first len Hall game was in 96 against St Kilda?
The one that sticks in my mind above all else was the year (2000?) we recognised the Vietnam vets. The lights were dimmed to simulate choppers. One of the most moving ceremonies I've ever seen. We played...
The 6 year rule relates to the period of time it was rented rather than the period it was your primary residence.
This exemption may also not apply as you have a new main residence although there are rules in relation to holding two main residences for a period of up to 6 months.
My...
Gutted at the moment but we got beaten by a better team.
There were a few positives, Pav, Bellie and Sandi all played well. Probably the best thing for me was the fact that we fought back several times. On a number of occasions it looked like Sydney would run away with it but to our...
Do we all expect too much from Des? He's largely a receiver and finisher of the ball. The fact he's not playing well generally means the balls not coming out to him and the team as a whole isn't playing well.
In a few days we'll look back on it as a great year. They've started to play well as a team. The Dodd's, Crrowley's and Mundy's have come on well, Sandi has been brilliant.
WE got beaten by a better team tonight but the exerience will be invaluable in the coming years, Roll on 2007.
I would have thought Shauny Mac would go around one more year. As for Parker I think he's still useful to the team just not on Hall or O'Loughlin. We really could have done with Grover tonight.
I'm too stingy to blow the $70 bucks for the ticket.
Deep down I've felt we would win all week so I'm telling myself it won't matter because I'll be off to Melbourne next week.
About 8 weeks ago I stupidly commited to going to a play tonight not seriously believing Freo would be where they are now.
I've now got to wait until about 10.30 pm to watch the game and are vainly hoping I dont find out the result before hand. I desperately want to know if we win now, Im...
I had block 128 but screwed up my credit card details and got crashed out of the system trying to fix it. After 15 mins of refreshing I managed to get 106.
Two memories stick out from that day.
1. The Fitzroy fan running on the ground after the game with the banner with the red coats having enough sense to leave him alone.
2. The singing of Auld Lang Syne at the end was really moving.
If clubs are to merge or fold you would hope they got...
Matthew Carr must also be walking a tightrope.
If Haselby is fit like they keep claiming I will walk to china.
At least with Schammer he's getting the ball unlike few others.
Re: Good News Geoff Gallop has resigned...
McGinty's been playing good cop/bad cop with Gallop but would probably be OK if he was premier, Carpernter looks like the best option but. McTeirnan, Ripper and Roberts dont have a chance - I Hope!!.
After that there doesnt seem to be too...
I haven't read Bunson's post in detail but no one seems to have mentioned that your personal residence is generally exempt from Capital Gains tax. If you put your house in a trust not only would you need to charge yourself rent in order to claim an interest deduction you would loose the CGT...
Just a quick suggestion, before you shoot your mouth off it's always an idea to get your facts straight. The last time west coast's home crowd avererage was less than 25,000 was in 1990. The last time it was less than 30,000 was in 1994. In 99 they averaged 30,777, in 2000 it was 33,191 and...

I aint no pope but here goes:
This was the score we kicked against Essendon in 1997 when winning by 97 points, which was for a long time our biggest winning margin.
Round 22 2001 was the home game against Adelaide that we won, and what a brilliant game it was. That one win made sitting through 10 crap home games and a game against carlton in which the umpired robbed us worth while.
I'm spewin I missed out,
I finally got through at 9.30 and sat on hold for 20 mins only to be told all tickets including reserved seating had been sold.
Does anyone know when west coast sell off the tickets "sold" back to the club?
