Im a mad saints fan and this is would be my geelong team.
(given that ben graham is staying....)
B: Hunt, Scarlett, Sanderson
HB: Milburn, Harley, Wojinscki
C: Kelly, Ling, Tenace
HF: Chapman, Ottens, S.Johnson
F: Ablett, Kingsley, Graham
RUCKS: King, Corey, Bartel
INT: Mooney, Riccardi, Mackie, Koularoitis

Mark Thompson loves D. Johnson and I can see why, when given a mission he does he best without flamboyance or flair. Just a average skilled player who puts his head under the ball and gives his all. Apart from Ling he is our #1 tagger and will be in our best 22 any day of the year.

If it came down to having Tenace or D Johnson on the bench I know who I'd pick.

geez old mate, for a non-cats fan you have got that pretty spot on. perhaps only change i'd make is enright for koula. that said, there are always going to be injuries/suspensions so I guess it is pretty rare that you get your best side out on the park.

B: Josh Hunt, Matthew Scarlett, Brenton Sanderson
HB: Darren Milburn, Tom Harley, Joel Corey
C: David Wojinscki, Cameron Ling, Kane Tenace
HF: Steve Johnson, Ben Graham, Gary Ablett
F: Paul Chapman, Brad Ottens, Kant Kicksley
RUCKS: Steven King, James Kelly, James Bartel
INT: Cameron Mooney, Peter Riccardi, Charlie Gardiner, David Johnson

EMG: Corey Enright, David Haynes, Paul Koulorotis

Only a few changes from Hood's team. David Johnson is now the premium tagger and should play every week in that role. Particularly when we are playing against the best midfields in the competition eg WCE, St.Kilda, Brisbane.

Joel Corey is better playing off half back, while Wojinscki is more suited to the wing in my opinion. Also, Kant with Stevie J, mostly because I like the look of SOG and SJ on either flank

I think increasingly it is the depth of our side which is most impressive. I would love to have included Haynes, Enright, Koula, Byrnes, Playfair, Callan Thurley in that team but couldn't. I'm pretty happy with that situation!

Wojcinski to me is devistating when he breaks the lines. I'm not sure if we need two pacey wingers in Tenace and Wojcinski - thats why I had Wojcinski on the half back flank. I think alot of people underrate Corey Enright and thats why I inlcuded him in my best 22.

As for David Johnson I think he is good and would slot into the side when required but I don't believe he is a regular best 22 player. He needs to add more strings to his bow than pure tagger.

Why does everyone have Gardiner in their 22?
but for me at the moment mine would be this:

B: Josh Hunt, Matthew Scarlett, Brenton Sanderson
HB: Darren Milburn, Tom Harley, David Wojinscki
C: James Kelly, Cameron Ling, Kane Tenace
HF: Steve Johnson, Ben Graham, Gary Ablett Jnr
F: Paul Chapman, Brad Ottens, Kent Kingsley
RUCKS: Steven King, Joel Corey, James Bartel
INT: Cameron Mooney, Peter Riccardi, David Haynes,Paul Koulorotis
EMG: Andrew Mackie, Henry Playfair, Corey Enright ( Swaps with koula depending on which team we play)

Take a look when these teams were posted; before the Nate Ablett announcement.

And the Graham announcement......

Ottens staying fit could be the difference b/w premiership and also-ran.

I guess we will know more in approximately 4 months and 23 days.
