Do we stick with the winning formula or give him spell in the 2nds because his form has be putrid. Missing tackles, missing targets, dropping marks. Just very unSnelling.
Would have to be under some pressure.

Has he snagged a goal since his return? Is trying hard but it doesn’t seem to be clicking for him.

Can’t kick more than 30m aṯm. Very rusty, needs a few weeks in the 2s at least.

Snell was rushed back unfortunately and we cant change that now. What we can do is not make the same mistake with Archie. Id give Snell another week to find his feet.
There is a difference in expecting touch when we are bringing back a player who hasn’t played a game all season and a guy who has has two weeks off. (Assuming he has healed fully of course)

Im talking about the risk of reoccurring injury rather than touch with Archie. We have had a few examples in recent times of rushing players back underdone and then missing more weeks

Archie was line ball last week, so sounds as though they’ve showed a fair degree of caution with him.

He's been pretty pitiful since coming back into the seniors. The only useful thing he does is lay tackles. He sure as hell can't hit a target or kick over 30m right now. Its actually depressing seeing him take a mark 40m out and knowing he can't make the distance.
If Perkins is fit - straight swap without a second thought.
