And yet he's made a s**t ton of money because he knows that AFL is a cash cow.
I'd say he knows implicitly how to run a good business, he just has no idea how to create good content and scoots by cos he understands Melbourne and had invested well enough early days to be able to use that money to make more.
We have to go through this shit again? But it's a sports station . Sports don't have motors .
Making money doesn't make it a good business. Heard of the mafia? Bernie Madoff? Enron? Ridiculous comment.
Maybe you're right. But fu**, I wish I could be s**t at business while having as much money as he does.
That hater is a reason ive posted why bother if your not listening.Maybe you're right. But fu**, I wish I could be s**t at business while having as much money as he does.
The point stands - the content can be s**t and unprofessional while the business is good. I mean he's still getting people paying for ads there despite it being completely amateurish at times. That must count for something.
Horses are not mechanical .We have to go through this s**t again?
You're someone who likes horse racing. It's the same activity, except car racing is far more acceptable as a definition of sport to the wider public than what horses are.
Anyone can do it, just be morally bankrupt and work hard.
No, but it's the same activity.Horses are not mechanical .
Nothing like it, the jockeys are sportsmen and women . Surely 3aw promote it.No, but it's the same activity.
Reading the posts again. Even though I've brought up motor racing to the conversation, it's to me clear that people don't get that motor racing wasn't the point.
Not for the first time.
I don't regard car racing as sport , so its irrelevant to me .You are 100% correct with your post about Barrichello and in the way you would frame the interview - This topic also showed the irony in many complaining about the lack of all-round sporting knowledge of SEN presenters, but yet in this case posters have displayed the same flaws.
Why not?I don't regard car racing as sport , so its irrelevant to me .
Pardon? Wow lollike the NFL is to me ...irrelevant....its produced by disney entertainment..fact...i dont know if the WWE is produced by disney, but the NFL
is just WWE with a ball thrown in imo.. &.so is NBA
yeah, didnt you know disney entertainment are part owner of the NFL...LOL..back at yaPardon? Wow lol
my way of deciding the sport/not sport question for any activity....I don't regard car racing as sport , so its irrelevant to me .
What I was doing was highlighting a blind spot. Barrichello isn't a legendary figure, but is enough to warrant time on the station. Id his presence is being ignored, then what about the other 2nd/3rd tier names that have come to Melbourne are also being ignored? They could be names in sports that other posters here like. You are 100% correct with your post about Barrichello and in the way you would frame the interview - This topic also showed the irony in many complaining about the lack of all-round sporting knowledge of SEN presenters, but yet in this case posters have displayed the same flaws.
i saw the big unit on saturday at bells hotel south melbourne..i really wanted to go up to him and give him some quality feedback, but then i thought, nah,Anyone noticed that according to the ads on SEN everything is like playing football? Buying life insurance, getting a reliable pressure cleaner, parking at the airport, all exactly like playing professional football!
