You can’t compare abc to Sen, 3aw play just as many ads..
they can only play a certain amount per hour anyway..
Exactly right. The typical ad time during breaks seem par for course for radio. It's all those extra sponsorship mentioned in program that has increased significantly under hutchison.I would love to see this investigated, as it feels like SEN really push the boundaries.
If you break down the regular commercial breaks, then the live-ad reads, the 2-5 second grabs that are sneaked in before all news and traffic reports (along with the ads during the reports) and the constant brand-names dropped into conversation, then I'd be staggered if this is on par with regulations.
No interest. Is anyone here following the Rugby World Cup? SEN doesn't look like it
was mentioned this morning. how? izzy falou could've played for the wallabies, or the storm or the giants/Is anyone here following the Rugby World Cup? SEN doesn't look like it
I watched some of the NFL this morning on Ch 73 for the first time in a few years. Have they shortened the stoppage time between plays? It was much snappier than I remember. It wasn't too bad.
Interesting. Thanks. I'll try to catch more of it next week. Spewin' it's not in HD. I used to like watching bits of it on 1HD a few years ago, partly because of the HD, but also because, like most other world sports, they're not obsessed with switching from extreme close-ups to long-shots, like the AFL broadcasters are. Fair dinkum, sometimes footy is shot like a shaky-cam action movie. What Will Fans Do With Those 26 Extra Seconds The NFL Has Given Them?
Several changes were made to league rules to speed up the pace of play this year, including the reduction of two commercial pods. But the average length of a game is all but the same, and TV ratings are no better.www.forbes.com
It's terrible. Instead of footy nearest to the pin they are going to 'the best ROBOT Building Supplies voice challenge'.I edited the hour between 8am and 9pm of the breakfast show. Cutting out everything, along with Nathan Brown's betting spot/ad, there's 33 min and 47 secs of content. However, that includes a couple of minutes of people calling up with their Frank Walker impressions which, of course, is another ad in disguise.
By the way, don't get me wrong, I still like SEN.
ha, that's a borderline scam. It amazes me how the Hutch-Blob keeps coming up with new ways to sell airtimeIt's terrible. Instead of footy nearest to the pin they are going to 'the best ROBOT Building Supplies voice challenge'.
