This reminded me of the last sounding board ep I ever listened to.
Hutchy defending gambling advertising saying the AFL couldn’t survive without it, “Do you want that?”
Someone will buy it for peanuts and it will continue, hopefully with staff with lower pay but the prioritise passion/knowledge of sport as opposed to their ego.

It’s back! Footy fans can rejoice with Finey's Final Siren set to return to SEN 1116am in 2024. The show, hosted by Mark Fine, is set to air on Friday nights during the AFL Season, promising footy enthusiasts a blend of insights, entertainment, and talkback.
Listeners can hear Finey's Final Siren on SEN 1116am, from 11pm to 1am every Friday night across the AFL Season, immersing themselves in post-game analysis and lively discussions.
Finey's return follows the overwhelming support received after his memorable appearance on SEN 1116am's 20th birthday celebration with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson.
The revived show will feature Finey's signature perspective on Friday night footy games and famous talkback callers, aiming to reignite the spark that made Finey's Final Siren a beloved program. By capturing fans' immediate post-game reactions and creating a unique live dialogue, the show became must-listen radio.
