I think it's just journalists updating it, and if there's nothing new from the club then they automatically deduct a week from the previous tally.

The AFL website is nearly always "updated" before the club's injury update comes out, so unless they've got the inside line somewhere, caught a player coming out of a hospital after having scans and doorstopped him, or someone got subbed off, they don't actually know what has changed until after they've "updated" it.

With all the injury setbacks it will still be an important season for him.

Some of those small losses could certainly have been different but for one stopped opposition centre clearance I imagine

structures us up.
Blocks to make space so Darcy can work into it.

Draper + Setterfield probably make the difference in a few of the losses. The two of them are massive for our CB setup.

It was great to see Will back, his experience was really valuable for the team. He ticked off everything he needed to do, showing his strength at the contest, winning some clearances and having an impact running both ways. We’re happy to have him healthy and excited to see him keep building.

Whether he is picked or not in the seniors this week might be the litmus test of how serious we are trying to take finals.

If we rush him in for Norf then I think that shows we are having a serious crack at the 8. If we weren't then surely you give him another week or two in the VFL.

I think he'll come back in so Perkins and Martin can go back to where they are most useful - both for their own sakes as well as ours.

In the VFL? Well that throws a spanner in the works.

Still, it will be interesting to see if we rush him back this week or give him another week off and just give him a big week on the track.

Why on earth would we play him down back? His one (and maybe only?) wood is in the middle, where he added a lot to our team early.
