OK, I've removed about three pages of posts.

Please do not use this thread to speculate about Oliver's private life – medical or otherwise.

Regardless of the veracity of your rumour, or what you know/have heard, if it's not public knowledge, just don't post it.

I don't want to turn this place into Demonland, but if you can't see the potential harm that this sort of rumour-spreading can cause (regardless of your intentions), then perhaps it's best if you take a bit of a break.

Thanks.

Any reports of Oliver being unfit and overweight should be ignored. I went and watched training this morning, he looks in good physical shape and looked like he has that power back in his legs. If anything he looked a couple of kilos lighter than his usual playing weight

Those reports were correct at the start of the preseason though? He looks better now absolutely, but let's not pretend he turned up in good shape. Huge year for his legacy coming up.

No excuse for his condition at the start of the 2024 season, but having a PCL injury, rib injury and hand surgery possibly meant he wasn't going to go from average nick to absolutely ripped in the time between end of season and day 1 of preseason. The improvement he's made since then is hopefully a good sign though. Completely agree on the legacy piece though, has done a lot of damage in a short time to undo all the good he'd done in the previous years.

He does look in reasonable shape right now I must admit.

Well deserving of praise for doing the bare minimum as a 1.5m player. What a hero. 🥳
Why isn't there an up to date training report of Charlie Spargo and Jake Lever showing up not fat as? Keen to know

Compared to the previous summer, Clarry looked much better at the start of this offseason. Was he in peak condition? No. But like you said, had a number of issues to be taken care of. Now those issues have been dealt with he looks in ripping condition. Besides the few haters on here, most had faith that he'd be able to get in this shape before the season starts. Now, can he turn that effort into turning his onfield form around? Time will tell, but at least he's given himself a good chance at doing so. He struggled to get to each contest last season. Hopefully no issue there this season. Well and truly in Clarry's corner. Love the bloke. Looking forward to seeing him get back to his best out there.

Sounds like Jamarra is having a Clarry summer.
Hearing he's been having more than a Clarry summer. And yet the media is nowhere to be seen. Hmmm, wonder why that is!? Dogs team mates are fed up supposedly. Who was hot on getting him into the club on here? Maybe time to strike is now. With Smith and Hunter gone, we need more bad boys on the list.

Except hes not a bad boy. Zero intimidation factor on the field, soft as and a mentally fragile. Hes the last person a club should want, guy gets paid then decides he doesnt need to turn up coz he can hold the club over a barrel. ****ing scum.

I was joking. But i do find it interesting that Oliver copped all the media scrutiny last offseason(not saying some of it wasn't warranted), yet JUH there's barely been a murmur. Just another reason why i hate modern footy media because by all reports JUH has been just as bad. Are the media picking and choosing who they go after based on ethnicity? Hmmm.

No I think they just left Jamarra alone because he plays for an irrelevant club no one cares for.

He will be front and centre this year when Clayton is back in shape and the media back off him.
You'd hope so based on how they treated Clarry and our football club. Again, not saying some of it wasn't warranted, but it felt like a witch hunt at times while JUH's issues have been swept under the carpet. Can probably hide his lack of preseason in the F50 a bit better than what Clarry could onball. Will be an interesting watch where this goes. Sounds like he's not in a good space.

JUH's issues have been in the public light for less than a week, the Oliver stuff built up over months. No doubt the media will go harder if he spirals like Oliver did.

What’s the go with him? Just not at training? Nose beers?
